Meaning of enigma (noun) mystery, secret, perplexity, puzzle, riddle

Our 'Enigma Puzzle' is one of our all time favorite brain teaser puzzles in fourteen years of business. This wonderful puzzle is created by Mr. Eldon Vaughn who became bored with retirement and did something about it. His 'Enigma' resembles a sculptured work of art but on a scale of one to ten the difficulty factor is nine. However, without using the enclosed solution or force we found the return to proper positioning should be considered an eleven. Our hats go off to Mr. Vaughn and may more seniors and young people alike seek the challenge of creating other new and exciting puzzles. We will be the first to open our doors and showcase new inventions and toys. Recently he wrote me of the history of this puzzle:
"I designed the first Enigma prototype when I was 16 (in 1955).
It gathered dust until 1975 when I got a patent for it. Then in
1984 I started selling a steel version through a gift catalog.
In 2003 I redesigned the ENIGMA for plastic molding, found a
supplier in China, and started selling through specialty retail
stores like Aerial Stunt Kites."

Today it is one of the best sellers to people who love challenging puzzles!
