I purchased Sedu flat iron based on the hype and was throughly dissapointed with both the product and customer service I received from Folica. After reading your article I have since learned that Folica owns both Sedu and Solia brands. They use a lot of deceptive advertsing to make consumers think that they have the most top rated Flat Iron (how many of the Sedu reviews that are negative have been published on Folica the owner of the brand. They also mention Sedu was featured in Allure magazine but when I contacted Allure they said Sedu has never been a featured item in there magazine. I have come to discover that Folica/Sedu placed a small paid ad in the back of one issue of the magazine. This must be the Folica/Sedu way of justifying "featured in Allure magazine" a total sham on the consumer. Ask Sedu or Folica to send a copy of the featured article and they won't return your call. Also Folica/Sedu states that "Sedu is used by top Stylists" but never mentions a single session hairstylist who uses a Sedu Flat Iron... another deceptive sham against the consumer. Folica/Sedu has not been truthful to consumers and the quality of the product itself is questionable. For this reason I am writing this as a "buyer be beware" to anyone considering buying a Sedu or Solia heat stylig tool.
