Here are some simple tips for keeping your fingernails looking their best.  Try polishing your act with these clean and smooth techniques for nails:

* Try using a buffer for that natural shine as an alternative to nail polish.

* If nails become yellowed from polish, try using a little lemon juice or white vinegar to remove stain.

* Still haven't got the knack for finger painting (your nails, that is)? Try using a light color polish that hides major goof ups!

* When polishing nails, be careful not to sit under direct light, such as a lamp. This will cause polish to bubble. (Avoid fans and heaters, as these will cause bubbling too!)

* Don't share nail tools such as clippers with other family members. To prevent the spread of infection, soak clippers in alcohol or try boiling in water for several minutes.
