We've suspected for weeks and most likely tonight it will be official. Oh, the excitement is in the air for those who vote and who follow this "historic" election campaign. Historic alright, but in my opinion not because a black man is running for office. No, historic because we got exactly what we want, more of the same and the continued pillage, rape and plunder of America and average Americans.

Hey, you already know my position, I have been saying it for well over a year now. Nothing new in these two tired and non productive Senators. Yes, more of that same old tired Washington crowd they allude to but with new packaging.

So we are back to those who get, well, chills, wondering if Hillary was going to be the designated champion. Well she is out and the bigwigs plans for a Hillary and Obama ticket just went south. She was sold up the river even by those she trusted as allies. Hey all is fair in politics. So now the big question will rear it's head, will she be the VP selection for Obama? She is already throwing out feelers as the AP is reporting. Are you crazy, Hillary as VP? Only for historic purposes would she ever consent and that is enough for her. That "marriage" would be even harder to take then her and Bill, and I suspect would provide many a spark or two. However, those Democrats will hip and holler for joy, another 4th of July and the "Dream Ticket" only in reverse.

In any case I really don't give a damn. I have been saying right along who the President is will be meaningless. It is Congress where the real battle is. Removing those who have aided and abetted in selling out this nation for their Multi Cultural, Global agenda.

So as the hype and hope flares all about Obama and his "Change America" one needs to wait for him to change. Do you think 20 years of listening to the rhetoric spewing out of one church Sunday after Sunday will change a persons beliefs because they quit the church? What was he doing all of those Sundays, lets see 52 x 20 = 1040 of them. Was he standing up and challenging or nodding his head and shouting approval? What do you think. Oh, I'm sorry I wasn't supposed to ask that. Your feathers are ruffled with that question and we know we can't ask that because well it isn't politically correct. Hey I have no problem with any man's opinion, just when he professes one thing but does another.

Oh and John "we love the Free Market" McCain who has no answers in my opinion to solving any economic issues but who listens intently to his cronies in Big Business as they tell him the right thing to do. Yes and put them all together and they spell, you guessed it Comprehensive Immigration. Why because they have made it their point to do so and you 81% of Americans who don't like it, well you know what you can do with it, Hail Caesar.

So now you 50% who vote will split right down the middle once again. It will be a nip and tick race, eyeball to eyeball and these political activists will relish in the "race" as they call it. Hey does it really matter? Does it matter where the rubber meets the road for average people, riding on empty gas tanks to work, not knowing where to get the next payment for the car, or insurance, the home and paying 31.9% on Credit Card debt. Yes, does it show in what they have done or failed to do? You bet you're a_ _ it does. Change yea, right. Jobs, yea right. Immigration, yea, right. Have you read Mark Trumbull who wrote an article on the AP today about the new "emerging" markets. Yes, we're not in there any longer. What a suprise. So go ahead you who have, are content and be merry, while you can. Perhaps you should take note to your local section on TV and in the news paper. Just perhaps you will hear the wrods, cut back, layoff,  retirement package and just perhaps when you hear car sales are down 16% you might, now I'll say that again, you might get the picture?

Oh well as for the rest of you who are eligible to vote but don't, complain, moan, grown, get angry and mad and curse and whatever else you want to do, don't forget to turn the burgers and please pass another beer.

hi robert, this was a well written, interesting article that rings the whole truth and nothing but the truth. we, as americans, have no real control over our lives. when it costs 100 dollars to fill up our gas tanks, and no one is addressing it, it is pitiful. when it costs 800.00 a month for heat, in a small salt box home, and no one is addressing it, it is sad. when our property taxes force us to have to sell our first born, and then second, it is a shame. i have one more to go! to Hell in a handbasket we are heading, i fear. thanks for sharing,
best regards,
sue thom

I always wonder why people put so much stock in the Presidency... you're right, Congress is where the real battle is.
But back to the real point... as banal as Obama's policies and political techniques are, I think that he may be the first leader in a long time who actually tries to deliver on his promises. I like him better than all other candidates and all recent Presidents because he's smarter than McCain, Bush, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, JFK, etc. and more honest than Clinton, Mrs. Clinton, or Nixon.

April my good friend, you know this is not directed at the good inn this world. Now I only know you and some others from this site but iI know in my heart you and they are good, solid people. I believe you are a living example of what you profess openly. You also know, at least as I profess race, religion, gender is not the issue with me. No it is really rooted in the core of character. I care not about your personal sins and beliefs, although I may not approve of them I cast no judgement on that except the innocent. Yet what one does or fails to do that hurts, abuses, takes, exploits, uses another even while standing up front and professing God, that hurts. Billions professing and not doing. How can one put it into words, one can't. After writing and writing and writing, in fact a Walk Down Memory Lane is a reissue I'm pulling off for lack of attention and goes back two years ago to December 11, 2006 as an example, and no change, yes none and after issue after issue. I really do not see how anyone doesn't see it, or in reality care what is happening all about. As you kow I write from experience. The things I write about I have intimate knowledge of either by experience or by fact as someone else's experience and for the life of me I just am frankly overwhelmed that so many people profess God but just don't do his works and the masses condone it, approve of it, ignore it. So my venting necessary for sanit and emotional stability. I wonder why I feel for oterhs while the masses could care less? It all boils down to this my friend. NO ONE CAN SAVE THEMSELVES. We are a lost world who needs Jesus Christ. Yet am to be silent when the wrongs are before me? Perhaps that is what I must do? With all my very best wishes for you. I hope this finds you well and happy and in good health? As always Robert.

I know you care and so do I. I care about you. I do not want your caring to create a crisis for you. I'm happy we have a platform provided by SearchWarp so that we can speak to the things that we care about, not necessarily issues, either. Trying to put a lid on you, well . . . I think about a gasket in a car. Does a car still have a gasket? *laughing* I recall when a gasket would blow, uh oh! So, do not become silent. You are not a voice crying in the wilderness. I know it seems that way most often but it's a mirage. Your voice is being heard and by the One that really matters. He can bring about a change. You know the answer, it's as you've stated. "We are a lost world who needs Jesus Christ." Keep at it Robert even if you slip and call me April occasionally. *giggling* I am well and praying you and your family are, too. And yes, also happy! Always, Avis.

Well I can't blame those April showers for being on my mind but I guess I can old age. I'm kinda upset with that but it really goes to show you we all slip at times. Too tired lately. Oh, and don;t worry about a crisis I've been walking through them all my life. I guess I have broad shoulders. and yes, I guess you'll forgive me? At least I hope? Notice I left your name out. That way I can't mess up, right? Avis, see I know. Glad you're smiling and happy, that makes me happy too. take care and be safe my friend.

Nothing to forgive and please, leave yourself alone about it! I knew you'd feel badly over it but I hoped my real laughter and giggles got through! Hooray for the broad shoulders. I won't worry about you. You write to the good and the evil in this world, RM. Keep it up and continue to take special care, my friend.

That's Bush in a nutshell.

Yes Jennifer that is why I am not for him, or the likes of him. I am for people who stand up for what they profess.[can we ever find any] I can accept a different opinion based on fact. I cannot on shallow beliefs formulated by perceptions. That is why I use the term Easter Bunny a lot. A nice package but some are hollow while others are full. Frankly their records go before them. It is not in what they say or how well they say it. It is not in what they propose to do but in what they do or fail to do to represent all, a key component. No it is the fruits of their labors for the common good of all. With this in mind they all fall woefully short, every single one of them. That is why no answers to Comprehensive Immigration. The facts just do not substantiate it. That is why no reply to 31.9% interest as usury. Yes as you know the list is endfless. Thanks for the comments. Best Wishes.
