Just when I thought things at work were going nowhere, all of sudden…I had 11 sales today alone. It had gotten to the point where I was only getting maybe 10 sales a week. We have been trying many things to rack up the sales to no avail until today. Maybe something clicked in the buyer's eyes today or something.

I wasn't worried about my job…yet, but it was in the back of my mind. Evidently something is going right…and guess what that is??

After last week at work, I started praying diligently that things would pick up…not only to keep my job, but I have been involved in this company for three months now and I really believe in the products that we sell. They are great and I have been wanting the company to be better than they were before I got there. It was a horrible mess until God brought me there to clean up the mess and move things forward. I don't want any praise or glory, though. I just want to succeed in what God has permitted to do for a job.

Also, I was talking with the production manager and she was trying to blame someone else for something that happened. After talking with her nicely, I turned around, stepped out of her office, and said something that was disrespectful to her. I could barely sleep that night because the Holy Spirit was telling me that I need to make that right with her. So…the next morning as soon as she walked in the door I asked if I could speak to her. I asked for forgiveness for the things that I said outside of her office and told her that I disrespected her as my authority. She was dumbfounded because she did not hear what I said and she could not believe that I would apologize for something I said to her.

God provided a way to reconcile with my authority even though she had no clue what I did. She was in awe of me doing that. A few minutes later she came to apologize to me because she did not own up to her own mistake and pawned it off on someone else.

Plus, yesterday, I was actually able to bring God's Word to a co-worker. It was exhilarating. I had been praying for her for the past month or so as she was able to bring little tidbits of her life to me. She started asking questions and the Lord gave me the right words to say.

Have you been in the direst of needs and thought how in the world you were going to get through it? Well…guess what…in the world, you can't. But…if you look up to the Heavenly Father above and ask Him for help, I know that He would be willing to do that.

He wants us to come to Him first in any situation that we might be in. He might not provide in a way that you think He will or even want Him to, but He provides for your needs.

God loves giving us everything that He has. All we have to do is ask…and He will be there waiting for you.

Jennifer Johnson is a Christian who wants to bring truth and knowledge of Jesus Christ to the world, to expose the wiles of the enemy, to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to stand on the firm foundation of God’s Word. She is a counselor of sorts as she is not a doctor and does not have a degree but she is one who wants to offer herself, based upon God’s Word and her painful experiences, to those in need of spiritual, emotional, physical, and financial healing.
