We all have felt almost a hatred to our past, our present, and even sometimes our future. And we may even be so bold as to say that we hate our lives. We may be even bolder to say that all life is meaningless dark and cold. This may be true but we should never forget that it isn't life we hate, but the events that occur in it.
I've been through my fair share of dark times. When my mentor made his suicide his "Final Work of Art" I felt as it my heart literally broke apart and my insides tore. The thing was that every thing that I did was accompanied by the images, words and memories of him. This made everything that I did come with remorse, hatred, and macabre understanding. I know how it feels and I know what monsters feel like.
But we can not let this engrave our lives. Sure there will probably be more sad times our lives than good ones. The thing we have to remember is that there are good ones. Even going out and letting the earth run between your fingers, or breathing in a large breath of air that fills our lungs to burst, may comes with sadness. We may love those simple moments in life but when we let the hatred mix with them all the time, then we truly are hating what we love.
It may feel impossible to keep them separate when we feel so low but my mentor told me one thing and it made so much sense.
"Kid, you gotta keep on goin, and fast. Cuz the sadness moves fast and you stop for a second and it'll catch up with you and drag you down." It may not mean anything to you, but just "keep on goin, and fast"

yeah but the thing is that its the trials and tribulations that we go through that make us who we are. Without his life and his death I probably wouldn't be where I am... Yeah its a shame he left but he taught me so much... Respond to this comment
