I am so happy; I have finally managed to attain a weight that I am happy with. It has been one hell of a struggle and has taken quite a long time. There is a lot of information on the internet about various weight loss programs or diet, thousands or articles written, thousands of websites published but what really has annoyed me is the fact that you are required to pay for the real cream, the expert weight loss advice that will actually benefit you. Well not anymore, in this article you will be able to find out about what is required to successfully lose weight and what's more it won't cost you a dime.

I am quite sure that most of us are aware of how many calories or points we are recommended to consume each day. It takes a lot of discipline to stick within these guidelines. Have you ever looked at the packaging of food items to see just how many calories are included within that particular item? If you haven't, you should, it may well shock you. As an example I was reading the packaging this afternoon of a rather famous brand of biscuits. Each biscuit had a whopping ninety-two calories in it, I used to eat a whole pack in one go only a few months ago.

I used to believe that pasta was quite a healthy dish, well it might be healthy but any tasty pasta dish with their lovely sauce will not be of use to people who want to lose weight.

What is required therefore is a disciplined exercise routine. Personally I have now started to walk on a daily basis; I walk for miles at a time and have now got it to a stage where I can walk quite long distances in quite a short amount of time. I also use a rowing machine and an exercise bike. Three times a week I will do a number of sit ups and press ups.

All of this exercise enables me to be able to eat more within each day and to not feel guilty about doing so. The whole process of watching what I eat and exercising has enabled me to reach my target weight.
