OMGoodness!!!
My son just made a huge mess!! And it has to do with a puppy and a toilet! While your reading this, you may laugh alittle. But I'm not, at least not right now!
My son is 19 months old, and we've been trying to introduce the potty for awhile. Suprisingly, he's getting the hang of it pretty good. He L-O-V-E-S to put the toilet paper down the toilet, flush it, then wave to it!! Saying, "Bye Bye!" And then, once the toilet paper is no longer in site......he does it again!! He can entertain himself by waving "bye bye" to toilet paper for about 20 min. (awww, the mind of a child)
Well, earlier he was in the bathroom with toilet paper. So, i naturaly assumed that i knew what was going on in there. ***W-R-O-N-G*** As soon as i stoped peeking around the corner, that sneaky little boy put down the toilet paper and picked up the Puppy!!! (Note: when i say puppy, im not talking about a live one, lol! Its his favorite stuffed animal that he sleeps with every night. So, dont worry! No animal abuse going on here! lol!) Well, he continued to take Puppy in and out of the toilet untill the toilet was empty!!!
And puppy......well he was FULL! FULL OF TOILET WATER!
And he was so proud of his puppy being all clean! He decided to s-q-u-e-e-z-e his puppy with all his might, to give him a big huge! He held the dripping wet puppy against his body untill he himself was also.....FULL OF TOILET WATER! Then he marched the proud puppy into his room to show the rest of his animal friends. I finally walked around the corner and caught him in the hallway. And to much of my suprise it looked like the the Fake Puppy was peeing on my carpet!!! It took about 4seconds before i put 2 and 2 together!
I yelled out, "CAYDEN! What are you doing?!?!?!" He could obvoiusly tell that i was upset. But that boy is so sly! That boy is soooo slick! He knew that he had to do something fast to avoid getting in real trouble. So....With a wet puppy clinched in his tiny fingers, he slowly looked up at me with those HUGE , 'Puss N Boots' brown eyes!! And with a tiny, quivering bottom lip the only thing he said to me was, "Uuuuuugh Ooooooh!"
How can a mother be mad at that? I told ya, its a good thing he's cute!!! |
