Gas prices are increasing as I'm sure you are painfully already aware of. The good news is that there are a wide variety of websites on the internet that are trying to help you get through, or rather adjust, to the new gas prices we're facing in America.
Firstly, if you haven't checked out Appill.com's (not the computer company!) website and mailing list-you're missing out. You can check it out http://www.Appill.com The site is quickly becoming reknowned for its token mailing list of humorous and helpful gas saving articles, check it out.
2.) GasBuddy.com This site is great for when you have to buy gas. If you're going to go out to fill up the tank you might as well hit the cheapest place in your neighborhood.
3.) Gasprices.mapquest.com This is similar to GasBuddy except you can immediately get directions to the closest and/or cheapest gas station.
4.) News.Google.com Sound crazy? Think again! I would even suggest bookmarking this page or making it your homepage. It is very, very important to stay up to date with what is happening globally and nationally in our economy. Keeping an eye on Google's news page is a great way to do this. It can give you a forecast of possible gas price increases, decreases (cross your fingers and hold your breath-or don't), and information on new developments for alternative fuels. These are all very good things to be up-to-date with as prices continue to climb and the cost of living continues to be more absurd.
