As a rule of thumb, most of the oil painting shall be hung from 1.5m to 1.65m from the ground level.

)Find the good spot to hang your lovely oil painting. (Hints: hang your oil painting in full view of the room means that you can see the oil painting in any direction from the room without any obstacles.)

)After get your good spot, hang your oil painting 1.5m to 1.65m from the level of floor to the center of the oil painting.

)Please take note that if the oil painting hung on the blank wall, you may hang higher. However, if your oil painting hang over the sofa, it is advisable to hang from 0.15m to 0.3m above the back of the sofa or the headboard of bed.  (Hints: You may ask someone to help you to hold the oil painting, so that you can stand back and decide the correct position.)

)The above mentioned method could be work well for a single oil painting from medium to large size of oil painting. You can also hang the small size of oil painting in group combination of 2 to 4 oil paintings (depend on the wall size). You can hang your oil painting horizontally or vertically that can make your room appeal to be modern.

)If hanging the oil paintings along the stair wall, the oil paintings can be hang by following the stair step with appropriate interval of them. This of course will give people who walk along the stair case are able to view the oil paintings.

)If nobody to help you to hold the oil painting. Another method you can try is cut a piece of paper templates to the size of your oil painting and tape it on the wall. You now can figure out from far or every angle from the room to get the good position. Besides, this also can help to relate between your oil painting and furniture. (hints: Remember to make some marks (suggest to use pencil) on the wall, then only you drill the hole or nailing.)
