We can volunteer time and money towards a lot of things but I often wonder, do we actually identify with a crisis.  The flooding of the Mississippi has become a real travesty for many.  As a person who survived Hurricane Katrina, I know what it is like for your life to change in a moment's notice or with no notice at all.

On a spiritual level, many things have come to mind about this tragedy, but one thing remains...People, real people are involved and their hearts are breaking.   Can we collectively use the power of intentions to send good vibrations to those who are being effected?  Can we put our hearts on the line and send our love and affirmative prayers to them?  Levees are breaching in many areas around the U.S. If we can't send compassion and affirmative prayers to someone else, are we prepared to be the ones who need it?

We havent' quite understood in our human experience that we are all in this together.  We can hide behind religion and cry out "sin, sin," as it happened in the case of New Orleans.  In the case of New Orleans, some blamed the "sin" in the city for thousands of people losing their lives and compassion diminished to nothing with in just a few weeks after the Hurricane.

Now, take a look at the Midwest, levees are breaching in an area we most certainly cannot cry out "sin, sin, they deserve it."  Explain that.  What hurts one, hurts us all.  Again, let's use the power of our intentions to send love, compassion, peace, wisdom, wealth, abundance, triumph.  At a time like this, no one needs to be judge.  For the degree at which you judge, you will be judged also.

If you are reading this article and would like to join me and others to execute the power of our intention for peace, love, order, and success to those affected by breeching levees throughout the U.S, simply write an uplifting and inspirational article here at Searchwarp and contact me via email and I will notify others about your words of encouragement. As a hurricane Katrina survivor, I know many people affected by the breaching levees and floods will find these articles inspiring and helpful.

We can all send money.  Many of us have, but we can also use our hearts to send compassion as well.  It goes a long way.

Very inspiring article. I am a native Iowan living in New York and have my 2 kids, my mother, most of my extended family and many friends affected by the floods there. I haven't really found the inspiration to write about it yet, however. I do lift the people up in my heart and appreciate your inspiring article. Thank you.

Hi Carmellita, thank you for this inspirational article and great reminder that what affects one, affects all. My prayers are with these people and I do pray for God's peace and strength for all the families that are directly affective by this event.
