Well lets skip right past all of the beauty in Gods creation and get right down to where the tire meets the road. A good person asked me recently what I would want in a politician. What can one say, character and to be what they profess to be as a Christian or religious. If one could and we know we can't get that, this world would not be as it is. That said now lets go down the list of why someone might ask, Where can one find God?

So ask and you shall receive. Whatever two of you agree on it will be granted by my father in heaven. Whatever you ask in my name it will be, etc, etc, etc. However, we must throw in the qualifiers. First faith and trust and second if it is the will of the father. Now I could quote more but you get the drift. Now lets look around this world at the many hardships, pain, misery and everything else one could imagine and ask ok Where can one find God today?

Is he really found in our leaders. These professors of God. In their works and what they have done or failed to do? Is it in the laws they write and implement? Is it in the laws they avoid, break, ignore? Is it in the laws that hurt, destroy, ruin people? Yes, Where can one find God today?

Ok how about those bankers. You know the ones who say "let us help", "give us a call", have you tried our loss mitigation department? Facade, Lie, fallacy you are just not credit worthy. Yes, Where can one find God today?

How about those Credit Cards at 31.9, 34.9 and higher. They offer you a "hardship" plan, a joke, a lie, a charade. They offer you sorrow, pain and you are the low life. Yes, Where can one find God today?

How about a mom lying in bed at 94 and you try to get help for her, call repeatedly and you are promised a call back, medication, no nothing. Are we in Oregon? Yes, Where can one find God today?

How about those car dealers and bankers and finance companies that will give you a price, shop the loan and then come back as your buddy and say he "we got you that loan" yes and its only 12.9% or higher. Oh and I forgot to tell you be late and you lose that car. Oh yes and that bank that says "you are like family to them", yes if you are credit worthy otherwise we don't need you in our family. Yes, Where can one find God today?

Oh well here is one, surely in church, right? Ok enough said. Maybe, perhaps maybe in a few where the spirit reigns but in many they think, yes think it does, not so. Follow them onto the street or to work and you will have your answer. Yes, Where can one find God today?

How about those that steal another's very being, their identity and our politicians want to reward them for their good deed. Yes "what would Jesus do" well He wouldn't steal, period! Yes, where can one find God today?

How about government help in any way shape or form? Are you for real? Really, that really sets me back. Are you really for real? Moo and a double Moo. Yes, Where can one find God today?

Hey about those unemployed that they tell there is training for and retooling? Yes those over 50 out of work. Those working and making minimum wage or slightly higher? Those with no health care or sick and can't get help. Yes, Where can one find God today?

What about it all, just go down the list items after item after item after item, no end. Yes evil is all about in many shapes, sizes, religions, you name it you will find it.

Hey this is a quick article for me. The answer lies with every single one of us period. Not who we profess we are, not what we project we are. No not how rich or poor we are. No in our works, what we do or not. Yes please will someone tell me just Where can one find God today?

Why because many need him and he is nowhere to be found. No, nowhere on this planet. Oh I'm sorry, I'm wrong, he can be found but I won't tell you. Why, find it out for yourself. I know who those who understand my writing know what I am talking to. No not the charlatans, the liars, the greedy, exploiters, the materialistic bunch. They will never know. No never know the answer to Where can one find God today?

So when one asks me who would I vote for and want to see elected to office I would say Character and to be what they profess to be as Christians or religious to live the golden rule, to demonstrate love of neighbor in all they do. However, I know that is for dreamers because Where can one find God today?

Hi Robert, it does seem as if God is hard to find these days, but we must remember who has ownership of the earth for the time being....But one need only look at creation in all it's splendor and give credit to Elohim-the Creator God, not mother nature. As for where one could find God today? Romans 10:9-10 say it very clearly, if we profess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that Jesus is Lord, then we shall be saved.
As for our leadership, I pray they would be all they claim to be. Lord help them. I for one am getting tired of the warn out phrase "God Bless America" --well He already did and look what we have become as a Country. Now it is time to start saying "God Forgive America"! There, you got a little bit out of me regarding politics, God and Country. Good job. As you know, I'm pretty silent about all this stuff. :-) Way to draw me out. God Bless you!

You too my dear friend. Sometimes the obvious is overlooked.Yes where your heart is, there you will find your God. I had some fun with it though. That is where He resides with all true believers and that is what guides our path. I'm writing one as we talk about "works". Have a great day!

Hi Mr. Melaccio.

Yes, this is another one of your articles which makes us think! I am perplexed by this question.

The obvious places in which one might think they could find God just may be the last places God would be found.

I have seen God in people, but I don't think I could tell you a pattern as to where these people could be found.

I have seen God in some of the least likely places as well.

Bruce, yes you are correct in all you state about finding God in unlikely places but that is not what I was alluding to. I know you have the answer because it is always with true believers. I gave Teresa a word so I will give you one as well "your". It is in my opinion the solution to everything, yes everything. The very best to you as always, Robert.
