Brochures are one of the more versatile marketing materials out there. As a matter of fact, brochures may be seen wherever you go. Brochure printing really has made an impact on how we approach our marketing strategies and if you are one of the few who still do not realize the full marketing potential of brochures, then read on and be enlightened:

a.    Brochures are versatile and can reach audiences in a number of ways:

•    Send your brochures through direct mail marketing campaigns. You can ask your postal services to deliver them to the target audience that you have in mind. Better yet, find a printer that has a mailing list. It makes your job easier.

•    You can also personally hand then out on the streets or you can leave them in public places for people to pick up.

b.    Brochure printing services are readily available through the internet. Online printers abound these days. This gives you instant access whenever you want your prints done – at home or at the office. Online printing saves you the time and the effort when you want to order your prints. Thru online printing, your print orders are set with just a click of the mouse.

c.    Whether you want your prints in bulk or in short run, there are various printing services available to make your prints cost effectively. Offset printing is the printing service of choice when it comes to bulk printing. In this type of printing, most of your expenses are incurred during the production of plates. Since this is a one time expense, succeeding orders of your printed materials will be considerably less.

Digital printing on the other hand is for your short-run print needs. It allows you to order small amounts of print copies at an affordable price. Short run prints are great when you have small campaigns or when you're in an emergency situation and need your prints fast.

d.    You can also have your brochures printed on different sizes. Choose the size that best suits your targeted campaign. Here are some of the standard sizes that you can print your brochures:

•    8.5" x 5.5"
•    8.5" x 11"
•    8.5" x 14"
•    11" x 17"
•    11" x 25.375"

Also, custom sizes are available. You can print your brochures as big or as small as you want. Some printing companies even allow you specifically define the parameters of you design thereby giving you total control over your print project.

e.    Today's printers have made colors appear more vibrant than they were. Full color printing makes your brochures more interesting by breathing life into your designs. You can also opt to use spot colors when you want specific colors used in your company logo.

And if your budget does not allow you to avail of full color printing services, then you can opt for two color printing or better yet the classic black and white design. Remember that while colors do add to the liveliness of your prints, it is ultimately the design and execution that matters in making effective brochure printing design.
