Few months ago it was a program on discovery channel about philosopher stones' and those who were/are after finding the secret of eternal' life and/or transmuting copper into gold!
It was very interesting to know that how many people spent all their lives to find this mysteries stone' and most of them were killed by other people or died because of using dangerous matters to find the secret of changing one substance to another and consequently their own' !!
They might wanted to change and /or switch off an especial code' deigned to become old and degenerated gradually through time' and space'!! They were looking for an eternal Code' and live as long as the creation' lives!!
A thought came into my mind that how come the Manifestations of God, knowing the secret of eternal life' and /or changing any substance to another, didn't use this secret' in Their own hardships and They and their families suffered so much! Why they didn't use the above secret' to live comfortably and eternally on earth?!!
And why They let Themselves and Their children became subject to persecutions with amazing sufferings, insisting that this world is another womb' only and we should prepare ourselves for another world' to come? !!! They gave their lives for us but They didn't open the above secret' for us to use, why?
And I thought to myself that the secret' of eternal life might be an special condition' which one' may acquires , a condition which those who were/are going through the process of purification they might reach a certain stage' of becoming purified from any other non-purified conditions connecting to the Source and in that stage' of living they become eternal !! So it shouldn't be a formula to use!! And that was my thought until I read in Baha'i Writings about above subject:
True believers and/or angels and/or philosopher's stone and/or people behind the Throne!!
Baha'u'llah says: "He shall send His angels" By "angels" is meant those who, reinforced by the power of the spirit, have consumed, with the fire of the love of God, all human traits and limitation, and have clothed themselves with the attributes of the most exalted Beings and of Cherubim, Divers and manifold are the interpretations of the words "behind the Throne." .. "A true believer is likened unto the philosopher's stone." . And now, inasmuch as these holy beings have sanctified themselves from every human limitation, have become endowed with the attributes of the spiritual, and have been adorned with noble traits of the blessed, they therefore have been designated as angles."
What will happen to true believers and/or angels and/or philosopher's stone' after their passing to another world?
Bab says: "Death does not separate the soul of the believer from his previous scene of activity, but only increases his powers. All those who work for this great Cause will continue to do so whether they are in the body or out of it. If martyred, they will attach themselves to those who can best secure this influence, and the power of these will be doubled or quadrupled by this dynamic assistance of those who have already left the scene of outward action."
