It's really weird when you get a subliminal dream! I had trouble sleeping last night..tossing and turning and just could not fall asleep. Finally around 5am, I did. Unfortunately I had a scattered dream and only remember just a few minutes of it. The dream went something like this at the end:
I am inside of a store...at work. Some people are milling about. I am standing near a large glass window and someone made a comment about how his job sucked. I told him that he should be glad he has a job. A guy sitting in a chair at a desk began to rant about working in "this rat hole" and how crazy the world was with subliminal messages. I then leaned over his desk and told him, "I am very aware of subliminal messages and I'm much smarter to know when to recognize them! What do you think, I'm stupid or something? We're all aware that subliminal messages exist!". He said "Have you ever really seen what goes on behind subliminal messaging?" I look at him and he waves his hand toward the large window where we can see another store across from the one we are working in. Suddenly, layers upon layers of the store began to peel back like peeling an orange or an apple. The store front was a layer...peeled back. The interior was a layer..peeled back. Layers continued to peel away until the image of ONE single man sitting in a comfortable over sized chair appeared and he was holding a microphone talking into it.
The man who had waved his hand said..."See that guy over there? He's doing nothing more than talking into that microphone making all sorts of comments that can't be heard with the common ear! His words and his voice are spreading all sorts of messages to shoppers without them even being aware of it!". Indeed, the man was making comments about "You are hungry for this and that"...."You need to buy this and that" and so on. I then said to the man..."Well, I have to hand it to you. I certainly never saw subliminal messaging quite in this way!".
Then I woke up. *grin*.
What are subliminal messages? Simply put, they are messages that supposedly only one part of the brain can see. They are messges we supposedly can not fully acknowledge that we are indeed seeing them. Subliminal messages work with virtually no effort on your part.
When messages are flashed in front of you at a very high speed , your eyes don't see these messages, but your subconscious mind instantly understands and accepts them. Used wisely, by consciously choosing the best positive affirmations that you need to impress upon your subconscious mind, whether it be adding a new attitude or skill or dropping an addiction or a phobia, you can improve your life quickly, easily, and effortlessly, with no effort at all when you use subliminal technology. Like myself, most people are skeptical about subliminal messages but know they are possible and we all think we can recognized it if it happens.
The advertising industry has long dismissed such subliminal ads as fiction, a view backed by experts. But this subject is on the defensive after a Republican TV ad targeting the Democratic presidential ticket fleetingly showed the word "RATS." The industry insists such techniques are nowhere to be found in commercial ads. But are they?
"The reaction in our industry is 'Oh man, not again....will this charade never die?"' Hal Shoup, executive vice president of the American Association of Advertising Agencies, said Wednesday. "This is a myth that has been perpetrated for the last 30 or 40 years." Bob Garfield, an industry critic for Advertising Age magazine, agrees there's no evidence the practice has ever been done. (And yet, here I am being shown in a dream that in fact...it has been done and IS being done without our knowing or being aware of it.)
"Subliminal advertising does not exist except in the public consciousness, at least not in consumer advertising," he said. "Nobody bothers with it because it's hard enough to impress people by hitting them upside the head with images." But subliminal messages are not really hard at all and I believe they are being done by experts around the world.
Wouldn't that be great? Check out this video and see how smartly Subliminal images are created by expert advertisers:
