Now that you're gone
My world has lost all meaning
And an emptiness I have never known
Has fallen like a black cloud upon my life

Falling

      Falling

            These tears

                  Like rain

   In vain

I search for peace
      Yet, endless tears
            Bring no relief
                  So much sorrow
                        So much pain
                              So much grief
                                    So much shame

Where have you wandered
      With my heart?
            I cannot find it
                  In the dark
I fear that it's been turned to stone
                              Crushed to dust
                                    In the cold wind blown

Blown

      Blown

            Blown away

                  Like dust

Never again shall I trust
      Another with my heart
            To tear and tatter
                  And pull apart
