You miss him, you miss being around him, you wish he were here. You want your ex back! Admitting this to yourself is the first step to taking a serious shot at getting your ex back. Breaking up with someone is rough, it effects everything you do for a long time. You're now thinking of getting him back, but how can you be sure that it won't be a vain effort? How can you be sure you've got a shot?
Experts have done research to help tell if someone is still into you and wants you back. Most of these people overlook or don't understand what they mean, but if you know what to look for the signs your exwants you back are easy to spot.
Eye Contact. A Harvard psychologist discovered that the longer you and your ex keep eye contact the better chance love is still there. The tell tale clue is the ability to maintain eye contact through 70% of the conversation. Dilated pupils are also a positive sign he still cares.
Hanging Out. Does he stay a bit longer? The lingering visits could be because he's enjoying your company or wants you to bring up the break up. Whatever his reason is, the fact he's sticking around a bit longer should be a clue to you that he still thinks about you.
Body Language. People send out signals all the time without realizing it through their body language. What they may be saying may be different than what their body language is really telling. A big clue to find with body language is where he's facing. No matter where he is, if his body is angled toward you or facing you it exposes his interest for you. These can be small things as well, such as his foot or elbow pointing your way, so keep an eye out for them. Our facial expressions also change when we're near someone we're interested in. Their eyes widen, their eyebrows raise, and they smile a lot more. You can see this clue in action by watching other people as well.
Other Forms of Contact. Are you still getting email and phone messages from him? It may seem rare, but contacts as few as once every six months means you're still not off his radar yet and on good terms. You still have good chances even if he doesn't contact you, so it's not as bad as you may think it is.
