Do you have a low self-esteem? Would you like to discover new techniques that could help you to increase your overall confidence levels? If you have answered yes to either or both of these questions then this article may well be worth a read.
I know all about having a low self-esteem. For the first twenty-two years of my life people would have thought of me as somebody who had a lack of confidence, these people were right.
So why did I have such a lack of confidence? Well in truth there were a number of reasons not least the fact that I had a speech impediment. I had developed a stutter when I was a young child and despite my best efforts it had a very damaging affect on my self-esteem/confidence.
Other reasons included the fact that I have a bald patch on my head, I was over-weight and also that I am quite short for a man. Now I am fairly sure that for people who have an inner confidence that these reasons may seem to be a bit tame, they would probably say, who cares if you have got a bald patch on your head, if you are short in height, if you are overweight or if you have a speech defect? I now fully agree with this sentiment, yes who cares?
To gain confidence that is what we need to become, stronger, less paranoid and we need to stop worrying about what other people think of us.
We have to start focusing and appreciating what we do have in life rather than stressing about what we don't.
