God gave the choice to each and every individual to make their life as they see fit. That is what makes mankind, human. That falls under free will.

"Then God said Let us make a man someone like ourselves, to be masters of all life upon the earth. So God made man like his Maker. Like God did God make man. Man and maid did he make them. And God blessed them and told them. Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it;" (Genesis 1:26 & 27 tlb)

Man is the master of "all" life upon the earth that would include his life and man has been blessed also.

Life is designed to be a combination of both easy and challenging. The word I use to describe life is "interesting."

If you engaged in an activity where you are always the winner where would the challenge be, the interest, how long would it take you to find something else to do?

An opponent has been put on this planet to keep mankind on his toes and he is good at what he does, very good.

"There lived in the land of Uz a man named Job a good man who feared (respected) God and stayed away from evil. He had a large family and was immensely wealthy" (Job 1:1 & 2 tlb)

Job wasn't just wealthy he was,"immensely wealthy".

"One day as the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, Satan, the Accuser, came with them. "Where have you come from?" the Lord asked Satan.

And Satan replied, from patrolling the earth." "Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth a good man who fears (respects) God and will have nothing to do with evil." (Job 1: 6-8 tlb)

Then Satan goes on to say, "Why shouldn't he, (respect God), you pay him so well You have prospered everything he does look how rich he is" (Job 1:9 tlb)

Prosperity comes from God. Job knew it and Satan knew it also.

The opponent is still on his job, "patrolling the earth" and if mankind is not "on his game" he could very well lose the contest.

"Be careful watch out for attacks from Satan, your great enemy. He prowls around like a hungry, roaring lion, looking for some victim to tear apart." (2Peter 5:8 tlb)

In order to be victorious and not a victim we must be aware of how the Accuser operates. We must know his moves, what he will and will not do, which is very little.

You can be sure he knows where our weaknesses are and that is where he will attack like a roaring lion looking to destroy you.

So, to keep this life easy, challenging, interesting, here's what we must do.

"Last of all I want to remind you that your strength must come from the Lord's mighty power within you. Put on all of God's armor so that you will be able to stand safe against all strategies and tricks of Satan." "So use every piece of God's armor to resist the enemy whenever he attacks, and when it is all over, you will be standing up." (Ephesians 6:10,11 & 13)

Peace -
