Yes as I was sitting contemplating my writings, what people have said to me about my writing and what I write about, I pondered the age we live in and came to realize that all that is transpiring before me is what I have been writing to all along and I was wondering why,  why this zeal tow rite about these topics, And then the Word came.

Yes and I remembered when I came across the "Bovine" statement and view of a very well know elitist economics intellectual, which translated means Cattle or Oxen, beasts of burden, that I have been writing to recently in many of my articles and I suddenly wondered why this reading now? I wondered was this in preparation for this article? Yes, that statement or philosophy came out of the Eastern Liberal Elite Education establishment that many of our leaders passed through and come from. Yes and I found it interesting that what I read in the Word alluded to that, cattle.

So as I said, as I perused through the Word looking for some guidance as to what I should write to I came across Malachi Chapter 3 verses 18 through 20 and it just came alive for me. You see we do live in wicked times, fact. Sure there have always been wicked times but none, no none, where all the prophesy has come together,  be it religious or pagan. Yes in my opinion greed, exploitation, lust, covetousness and all the evil that man can devise is alive and well in this generation.

Yes, the question of why the things take place, are allowed, happen, when they  literally cry out as wrong, is before us all. Why are they allowed, approved, condoned even by those who profess? Yet we recognize that it is all who must chose individually. As I have always said, the choice is between you and God and no one else. It is literally all about YOU. So as you read through Malachi reflect on some of the things I have written to and see if you get the connection?

So Malachi 18 through 20 says [New American Bible]

18: Then again you will see the distinction between the just and the evil; between him who serves God and him who does not serve him.

19: For Lo the day is coming, blazing like an oven. When all proud and all evil doers will be stubble. And the day that is coming will set them on fire, leaving them neither root nor branch, says the Lord of Hosts.

20: But for you who fear my name, there will arise the sun of justice with its healing rays; and you will gambol likes calves out of the stall and tread down the wicked;

Now what caught my eye was my writing about suffering. The suffering of people at the hands of the wicked. Yes the wicked who care not what is written in the Word. Who make their own rules, laws, guidelines and reject morality, decency, values, morality and supplant them with their own definitions. Who talk of love but do it not.

Yes also and most significant was the use of the term "calves". What are "calves", yes, young cattle. In effect it was symbolic to me of being born new, born again, like little children, innocent and they would be, yes they would be, the ones to thread down the wicked. The innocent calves.

Call it what you will I claim nothing more then being a believer. Yet there is Gods prophet thousands of years ago using Gods Word to bring to life what I believe is today and what will transpire soon. For our world is full of the cattle for the exploitive and greedy.

So for those looking for positives, learn this as the only real positive,  Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ,. Believe in Him and claim Him as your Lord and no harm will ever befall you. Fear not who takes your life but who steals your soul. Yet it is not wrong to bring light to the dark for the dark must flee before it and good. It is what we as believers and professors are required to do for the sake of sinners and all of us.

So I will continue to write for the sake of many about the injustices I see. Not as negatives but reality of what is all about. Yes, we must do all we can as believers to do all that we profess in thought, word and deed for the Glory of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and because we profess we follow Him and in doing so demonstrate Love of neighbor. In our works, in what we do and what we fail to do we are judged. May we always do what is pleasing, just and right before God. may all our actions be for Love of neighbor  and for the common good of all.

Jesus is my Lord, he is the Lord of all religions. This is what I believe, however I believe in the Jewish religion and the Muslim world as well. Those who preach the word of Christ to all people are hypocrites. My belief anyway, I may be wrong.

Hi David, that is a strong statement. Why do you think that people who preach the word of Christ to all people are hypocrites? I respect your opinion, but I was just wondering how you conclude that thought. I would appreciate your help in understanding. I guess because you are in effect calling me a hypocrite and I would at least like to know why. Thanks David, Peace.

(Sorry Robert, I stuck my nose in once again.))

I respect your beliefs David but respectfully disagree on this one. In fact while offendedsomewhat by your comment I do understand if it offends you why you would be upset? I don't understand why you would even continue reading or did you? There is a difference between preaching and the truth and perception as another sees it or forms an opinion on and not knowing or caring to know is not a good thing. Certainly turning a deaf ear to anything is not a good thing. If we are to be enlightened we should seek, learn, know. I would be interested in knowing why you are of that opinion? Perhaps since you write well an article could help many who hold your views as to why you are evidently offended by someone quoting scriptures? After all is it not only a book to you? A teaching tool for many who care to study it? Do not many come to varied opinions from it and does it not, bottom line produce that we should do good? Best wishes and thanks for the comments.

Hi Robert, what a beautiful job here, straight from the word and with softness in your delievery. The message convicts, that'a a given. It pierces the heart of the guilty, yet brings comfort to the one who has surrendered. Thanks for sharing the word, I know there is at least one heart that is ready to receive this word from the Lord. Blessings to you my friend. Teresa

And as we say to one another "and also to you my friend". Hey I got a lesson for you from Sirach concerning Gold. I really think you could do a great job with it as a lesson. Best regards, Robert

As you know I write to topics of the day greed etc. Starty with Chapter 31. I know you can work that into a great lesson for today's times. Best Robert. PS: let me know how you are making out? I just know you will weave it into something God wants to be said from His Word.

rtm,

you lost me dear friend...Chapter 31 of what? I don't know what "Sirach GOLD" is.

Is that spanish for Proverbs 31? HA!

Help-don't keep me guessing. As soon as you tell me, I will research and pray and see where God leads me. I still need to get back to Baptism. Life is way to busy for me right now :-) Please pray for God's provision for the ministry. It is growing and I am getting busier, which is great, but the financial part of it is very skim and I still have to work a full time job, so pray for wisdom for me and God's financial provision by raising up new supporters. Perhaps I will be able to do ministry full time and outside work part-time instead of both full time. But God's grace is sufficient. Thanks friend.

Ok my fault. I am not using the King James version but the New American Bible version. I forgot it does not show in the red Letter King James. This book was omitted from that translation and does not show in the Catholic Version as well. Now there is a twist to write about. Anyway if you have a new American it is there. I will pray for you, Robert.

Thanks Robert. I wondered if that was the case after I thought about it for a while.
I have never read that book, so it will take me some time to read it, ponder it and you know me, compare it with the rest of Scripture because as you might guess, I do not uphold to the apocripha (spell?) because much of it has been proven to be historically inacurate and contradictory to the whole of Scripture. That is one translation I do not have, so I will get a hold of one. Thanks in advance for your patience, but I promise to follow through.

I'm still waiting to hear your thoughts on what I have shared on baptism so far and communion, I can take it like a man :-)

Yes, good thoughts that I haven't had time to sit down and really go over. Does it not amaze you all of the controversy over which version is correct and who says it it? Best wishes. Robert

It does amaze me, that's why we always have to be seeking, learning, growing! And we can never say we know it all--too much danger in that :-)

Thanks for another great challenge. I am excited about learning something new.

Robert, you said it all here when you penned, "... Hope in the Lord Jesus Christ,. Believe in Him and claim Him as your Lord and no harm will ever befall you. Fear not who takes your life but who steals your soul. Yet it is not wrong to bring light to the dark for the dark must flee before it and good. It is what we as believers and professors are required to do for the sake of sinners and all of us.... Amen, my friend, Amen. Please keep writing! I've noticed you've commented on my friend, "Omega in Christo" on this site - he's an 80 year old man who has a heart similar to yours -- we need people who are not afraid to speak the truth! God be with you always!

"And then the Word came" and it has not changed. It will not return void, either but accomplish what He sent it to do. This is of what you speak, Robert. I enjoy your writings but these writings I enjoy most. *warm smile* "May we always do what is pleasing, just and right before God. may all our actions be for Love of neighbor and for the common good of all." This, too, is my prayer. Your gift has made room for itself, RM. Your words illuminate! Blessings my friend. Don't stop! With the love of Christ -Avis :)
