If your child struggles to learn or read, you want answers. Some would suggest that you blame the school, the teachers, or the curriculum. Others would have you blame your child! (He's not motivated. She just can't understand.) STOP! Successful learning requires strong underlying skills. The majority of learning struggles are due to weakness in underlying skills. The good news? Skills can be strengthened.

FINALLY! GET YOUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED. Rank each statement according to this guide:

Compared to kids the same age and gender, this behavior occurs __ in my son/ daughter.
0) less often OR doesn't apply to the age of this person
1) at about the same frequency
2) slightly more
3) considerably more
4) very significantly more

How To Understand Your Scores

Total each column at the bottom. These represent the indicator score for 6 key skill areas:

  • Attention (AT),
  • Processing Speed (PS),
  • Auditory Processing (AP),
  • Memory (ME),
  • Visual Processing (VP),
  • Logic and Reasoning (LR).

A score of:

  • 6 or below suggests normal range in that skill set
  • 7-9 indicates a possible weakness in those skills
  • 10 or 11 suggests a likely weakness
  • 12 or above suggests a significant weakness

Like most parents, you know the symptoms: struggling in school, frustration, repeated failure, or difficulty. Now you know there is a likely ROOT CAUSE of the problem. If this worksheet suggests skill deficiencies, call your nearest LearningRx Learning Center today. A professional will review your scores from this worksheet, and if you desire, schedule an affordable but comprehensive cognitive skills test.

Your child can learn and read faster and easier. Please call LearningRx today at 1-866-679-1569.
