|
The onset of economic depression started much earlier worldwide. Speculation a major impact player [sound familiar]? Falling production, lower wages, layoffs, unemployment, sound familiar?] Rising inflation, costs of goods and services growing higher. [Sound familiar?] A key factor Western nations could absorb fewer and fewer commodities because many had no jobs [sound familiar?] yes the result, get this, of serious trade imbalances. These impacts lasted over a decade.
What was some of the other signs? Protectionism reared up. Smoot Harwley Tariff - constricts Global Trade to protect, get that protect American Agriculture from the ravages of foreign deals. This led to the Republicans losing Congress in the Midterm election [sound familiar]?
Vets and unemployed gather in Washington to demand payment of promises not kept. They are crushed by the military and removed forcibly. Next, Republicans lose the Presidency. Do you "wonder why"?
It continues with more grim news. Unemployment reaches at 25.5% Authority figures, leaders were now considered, get this, "HOLLOW" yes as I say Easter Bunnies, promising much delivering to the people little but talk.
Now are we there yet, certainly not. We are however, in the early stages. We certainly regardless of what the government likes to pour out in my opinion in a recession. Do you not think that even during those hard times there were people who have and lived better then many? Yes they became the exploiter of that era and many made fortunes off the backs of the foreclosed homeowners of that day, the poor, the unemployed. Does any of this sound familiar? Yes many could not believe that their government was this inept, sound familiar?
Yes and people were tired of the current leaders, they turned to the Democrats for answers. Yet the answers were not there as well. It took as I said decades. Many went through very hard times just to survive and yes the rich lost but not as much as the average, the workers, the poor. No they starved, they went homeless, they had to use bread lines, they went to potters field. Yes ask Grandpa or Grandma or better yet great grandma or grandpa what it was like and they will tell you.
They had, like us, just passed through the Roaring Twenties, the time of good and plenty of all night parties, all was well, all were happy and then, out of the blue collapse. Never happen today they say. Well look all about and look hard at what is taking place right before your eyes. Without work, jobs, pay this American economy does not move. Without industry, manufacturing, there are no jobs. No jobs, no pay, no pay, no credit, no credit no buy, etc, etc, etc. Yes Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, two pillars of the economy. If people can't get credit where is it all going? The banks sell these loans to these two giants who then sell them to investors guaranteeing the loan will be repaid, by who? Just who will be able to without work?
The banks, well the banks who started all this are locking out and choking off Americans who are not Credit Worthy, or not responsible. [Look for that little black sign when you walk in] The credit card companies [banks] are charging usury rates and nothing, zero, nada is done crunching and squeezing the life out of families. taking what little they have left, destroying them. Yes made so at the hands of these types in Washington. These types who call themselves men of honor, these professors of God, who supposedly say they do for the common good, who love us all and yet in my opinion do they demonstrate that in their works and what they profess? Can we say we believe they are what they say they are based on what they have done or failed to do, the fruit of their labor, or can we say it is sorely lacking, wanting, needing, missing?
Yes, do not expect the have to do anything for you, they won't. Place your trust in no man. If you really want change you must act now and change them all. Will bad happen. In my opinion most certainly, because they have left it that way. We will have to pass through the night before it will get better, yes.
Yet it can only change when we have people who put Americans first. Not businesses, corporations, foreign nations, ideologies, agenda's which do no good for the common good of all Americans.
It is not to late to make real change but it will only happen if we remove the cause. Now what was the answer to it all back then, the real solution, their only solution? Think hard my friends and read history as to when we came out of the depression because the depression continued well into the early 40's. The answer was the inevitable, why because it killed off some, gave others work and many made money. Yes sadly, war. It put people to work while getting rid of the "excess". Yes and the cattle went off singing their patriotic songs, waving their flags and seeking a better life. Hey don't get mad at me, it is all part of history, just research it.
So if we do not do anything as a people now to demand and make change the hand writing is on the wall. "You have been measured and found wanting"'. Let us not get to that point, now is the time to make real change, change them all, remove them via your vote or reap what you sow. It is truly as simple as that. As an average American I see no one looking out for me or mine. No love for me and mine. I hear and receive threats, harassment, doors closed, no work, no where to turn, no where, not government , church anywhere, do you? What does it take to wake up and act. Vote them all out. Yes if of either party, give them the boot. It is time for real change. Just an opinion, just an opinion.
