As I take part in this role called my life,
acting this journey out in stages;
bearing to all my triumphs and struggles
as the storm rages.

Life's decades represent acts in this pre-
written masterpiece. I wonder if the reviews
will be critiqued with truth and sincerity.

Intermissions offer a time for reflection;
forks in the road some might say.
With God seated next to me
I know I'll find my way.

Accomplishments are met with ovations
and thunderous applause.
Failures are magnified immensely.
The world now knows my flaws.

The final act has yet to be written.
One last performance before I retire.
By now, my countenance seems weary.
My circumstances seem so dire.

Alas, I'm finally home.
The last curtain call has been made.
To abide and rest with my Saviour,
the glow of eternal peace
never to fade.

....I'm home

Thanks for commenting Sue. I'm fine. I just was expressing how life can be at times. We all have our ups and downs. We're all judged (although we shouldn't be) by people on the outside looking in. But in the end, when life is over, taking our place in eternity with the Lord is a just reward for a job well done
