Currently, in the United States , we have a problem. A great number of people do not know how to become parents. Some of these people do not spend quality time with their children. What I mean by quality time is spending time doing different activities outside or inside the house. Moreover, spending time teaching children on how to become good citizens to their country. A good citizen is someone who does not steal, kill, and work hard. This is the reason why in the United States we have too many problems with children joining gangs, taking drugs, stealing and killing other children in school. People need to wake-up and try to get know their children. It is not only that people do not know how to become parents; in addition, people do not know how to form community meetings to stop the problems facing our children.
I remember waking up one morning and finding out that my neighbor had left her two children and never returned. Basically, my neighbor had left her two children to fend for themselves in this world. I ask the children where their mother had went? The children told me that their mother had went to India . My mother and I were very shocked to hear the news that she had went to India . A few days after their mother had left, the management called law enforement to evict the children out of their apartment. The next thing I know the oldest child took her younger brother with her to her boyfriend's house. I do not know what happened afterwards.
One thing I know people do not know how to become parents. In order to become a parent, they need to know how to take responsibility of their children. For instance, I had another neighbor upstairs who has two children. When the children are not in school, they would jump, run, and make too much noise inside their apartment. My mother and I constantly complained about the noise to management and the police, they were not able to assist us with our problems. At the end, management gave my mother and I a notice to move out.
Sometimes people need to take their children outside the house. Maybe to the park, beach, amusement park or somewhere they can play without being confined in one space.
Another thing people need to teach their children how to keep the environment where they live clean. I go to several places such as apartment complexes, stores and restaurants and find out that certain people allow their children to stain the department store clothes with icecream and spill or throw garbage on the ground, which attracts ants.

I believe that it all starts with love. Trial and error, family and friends helping. It is a learning process that cannot be passed on. Why, well all
new parents must learn for themselves. The shame today, many do not have a role model to follow. Broken homes, no love, nothing to pin anything on. How sad.
Yes, this is the reasone why the United States have too many problems. This is the only country that I know has a problem with children bringing guns into schools and killing other children. I think it has a lot to do with the parents and the community they live in. My mother comes from South Korea and her country never has a problem with children bringing guns into schools. Also, the children in South Korea learn to respect authority and the law. Also, the children in South Korea have respect for their elders and the teachers at school. This is the reason why I am writing this article to let people know that they need to care for their children or pay more attention to their children.
