Yes, a valid question, how many have to say it before it sinks in? The Associated press reported to today Mr. Bush's comments about homeowners in need of help. "A burdensome bailout for irresponsible borrowers and lenders"." Yes it was nice of our born-with-a-silver-spoon president to lump everyone into the same bracket. He never mentions usury on credit card debt or do any of them?  He rarely to ever talks about illegal immigration in truth. He does nothing about fuel prices, consumer rip off's blatant extortion and exploitation, layoff's, the migration of industry, jobs, manufacturing offshore to satisfy his Global agenda. Do any of them rarely talk about or address the real issues? You really think so?

Yes "A thousand points of light'. Don't know, not strange not many know much of anything or don't care to while he eagerly endorses bailouts for private companies. The average person squeezed out of everything and forced to pay more and more. Yes those irresponsible, not Credit Worthy types he likes to refer to. Yes and while proclaiming God and country to the roof tops.

Hey, what can one say? He is not wrong about irresponsible, no, but in my opinion he is just applying that comment to the wrong group. Yes you who must pay cash, if you have that even while many no longer accept cash. Yes, you remember that it was called a negotiable instrument. Yes just like checks. Hey no third party checks here. We don't accept payment by check. No postdating checks allowed, but they can. Yea, talk about God all you want. Profess all you want, the joke is on YOU.

Sadly it doesn't matter. A young man showed up the door campaigning for a local politician. He said I'd like to invite you to vote for so and so. I asked why and he said well he is fighting for us. I said oh really and can you explain how? He said well he is for x. I said great has it passed? He said no but he is working hard on it. I said, did you know he has been working hard on it for eight years now and what makes you think he will get it done this time? He said he said so. Ok Easter Bunny syndrome, enough said.

He then said well he is for change. I said so are many Americans but can you tell me by their works, what they have done or failed to do why I should vote for any of them. Well he couldn't, he just liked the guy. The guy was young, had a family and said the right things he wanted to hear. I said, well young man what has he done directly to help you and yours? No answer.

I then said, look it is not about him, his family or nice, looks or anything, it is all about works. On election day anyone who is a Republican or Democrat will NOT get my vote. It is someone else or no one, period. He said many are saying the same thing to me. I said well how many have to say it before it sinks in?

Yes, that's about it in a nutshell how many have to say it before it sinks in?

Hi Robert, good job. There is certainly alot of fluff out there and many people are joining a particular team without personal research. They are just going along with the crowd. We know from History, going along with the crowd causes hardship. Praying all is well with you! God Bless you my friend.

hi robert,

i worry, not so much about me, i've lived 52 years, i can figure out how to live the rest, but kids leaving home between 18 and 23 years old, is very worrisome to me.

do you know that my son, making minimum wage, 7.35 i think, has to work 1 hour to buy one gallon of gas and 1 gallon of milk. it doesn't compute in my mind how we got where we are, but it's not working!

have you been to any 3rd parties lately? :)

thanks for a well written and interesting article,

best regards,

sue

Susan until we make change there will be no real change. It really is as simple as that. I just hung up with the Attorney General of the state of Florida's office who basically said "you will have to take your own action". No protection, help or anything, a hollow, empty shell. They look for patterns. Do you believe that? That was repeated over  and over and over again by all the state agencies here in Florida. Even the national agencies said they do nothing but arbitrate. Arbitrate what?  If we as Americans have allowed and continue to allow this sin to fester and  what is in my opinion falsehood, then we reap what we have sown. Susan you can tell who is interested and who cares and by the number of readers. Believe me, most do not care. Sad but true.   It is however, time to make for real change and send a message. Boot them all out, period. Those who won't well Susan, what can one say,  yes we all should be worried. As always, thanks for your comments and the very best to you and yours.

Robert, what you've written about is one reason I loathe politics. I am convinced the candidates know that we never expect them to carry out their campaign promises. I'm convinced they know they must say with oratorical eloquence what we want to hear and make sure they deliver on it. And even after elected, nothing changes. The lively rhetoric is played out for at least two terms. They time their successes to get another elections won but back to politics as usual. It will never sink in for them because as you've said over and over again, even in this article . . . "show me their works!" They simply do not care because they're insulated and isolated from what the common man/woman is experiencing. Thanks again my friend for simply telling it like it is! My best and many blessings. *warm smile* Moi!

Thanks my good friend. You express it well as you always do. It seems the Lord has placed many a battle in my path for this day and age. I do not ask for it but there it is. I do not relish having these trials but there it is. perhaps I see things in a different perspective. Perhaps I am more sensitive to it all? Yet I know, like you, the troubles it places on ones soul to see it so. Will it change, most likely not until the one who can change it returns. However, it matters not about me or any individual but only truth. That old saying "the truth shall set you free" is a hard one to recognize but it will once accepted. Yes be it drugs, habit, vice, or anything else, choice, recognize and change or continue in your ways. May you always continue in your ways because they are the ways of compassion and mercy and yes, truth.  My thoughts and best wishes are always with you and yours,  as always , Robert.
