Isn`t it fabulous news that we have people asking questions like "what are facial exercises" and "how will I benefit from doing them." Questions of this nature tell us that some people are aware that facial exercises do exist. Unfortunately the number is much greater for those who have never heard of exercising the face. In contrast to fabulous this is damaging news. To keep the body in shape doing exercise is all well and good, but if particular parts (face) are left out then your body is not completely100% in shape and healthy.
The whole body craves exercise, end of story. Exercising facial muscles saves time and money. Less make up needed because you beautified the face naturally. Cosmetics, toners and moisturisers will never fully stimulate the face. Your bone structure, throat and neck will benefit greatly from face excises. A neck creased with folds of saggy skin is not a pretty sight. Limp flesh serves no purpose so therefore you have to work on it by toning up the muscles.
Okay, doing these exercises may have you look like a guerner, but hey what the heck how you look at the time, it's how you look after that matters. Face exercise helps relieve stress, stimulates blood flow and circulation. Not all muscles in the face are attached to bones or to the skin. Without these muscles expressions would be nonexistent, we convey our thoughts, moods, and emotions with their help. Why do most people believe it is only wrinkles that age a face, when in fact muscle tone can do this? Evidence of this is proven in young people because their muscles have not lost form, definition and elasticity. You can bring back a youthful muscular structure by properly exercising and sculpting your facial muscles. Face exercise are vital as face cream will not be able to lift a sagging double chin or re-sculpt your cheekbones.
Exercising strengthens face muscles which then brings the beauty from the inside out.
1 One simple exercise is for you to sit upright, tilt your head backwards so that you are looking at the ceiling, close your mouth and move the lips as if chewing gum. Repeat at least 20 times. It is clearly noticeable to see the muscles working on the neck and throat.
2 Second exercise is to repeat the above where you sit upright, tilt your head backwards and face the ceiling. Stay relaxed throughout all exercise. Tense is not good. Close the mouth - pucker and pout the lips as if kissing and then stretch the kiss towards the ceiling. As stupid as this may sound its benefits are rewarding. The lips need to be kept in this position for up to the count of ten, relax, lowering your head back down and repeat 5 times.
Regardless of which part of the body you wish to shape or tone you should always seek advice from your doctor.
3 A regular exercise for the face which is as simple as the two previous methods include the exact start up process of step 1 and 2 – only the tongue is used. Open your lips and stick your tongue out as if trying to reach your chin. Hold the tongue out till the count of ten if possible. Do not increase suggested counts. If you feel pain or discomfort stop what you are doing, as this may suggest you are doing something wrong or that this particular face exercise is not for you. Follow with the hot favourite. Tilt your head back - face the ceiling. Stretch the bottom lip over the top one as far as you possibly can and count to five. Repeat 5 times.
4 Last exercise will have you in the lay down position. Level out your body flat on the bed. Hang your head over the edge. Raise your head slowly up towards your body and keep it there for the count of ten. Do this 5 times; if you get dizzy it could be because you are going too fast. Gradual lifts of the head may help stop dizziness, but if spinning does not stop then you must.
