On Thursday, August 6, 2008 Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick was jailed. After violating a bond, the native Detroiter has more than 130 internet entries, stories with reports of his order to be jailed .

An order made by Judge Ronald Giles, after Kilpatrick admitted that he made a trip to Canada back in July, which was violation of his bond has the mayor spending the night in a local Detroit jail. Now, my question is this: Why would you, knowing that you were under bond restrictions, go and leave the freaking country? Not a state, which would be against the bond requirements as well, but to leave the country, what was Kwame thinking?

Not only is this destroying his image with the residents of the city, but of many other residents in other states. This has our united states thinking what will happen to the City of Detroit? And I ask the same. Now heading to trial for perjury and other related charges, Mayor Kilpatrick leaves the city where? According to reports , Kilpatrick's decision-making' was guided by his prioritizing for the city. Allegedly, there was a meeting in Canada, discussing the possible selling of Detroit's half of the tunnel to Canada Now, if his main concern was for the benefit of the City of Detroit, then so be it, but don't forget your other responsibilities; especially responsible actions that may save you from being sent to jail. Any hints, here? His actions have left the Mayor's Office and City Council Building with the task of running the city'. But reports state that Kilpatrick's new' chief-of-staff' Kandia Milton will run' the city in the mayor's absence.do anyone else see the repetition? Another female chief-of-staff?

This recent activity has the mayor pleading for second chances, but the order has been made. Kilpatrick will be spending time in jail unless he posts the entire bond of $75000, or his lawyers make way with their persuasions to overturn the decision. Kilpatrick has been in the hot seat for a minute now. With the text sex scandal and other hot issues , Kilpatrick just may not be able to handle much more of this emotionally, or physiologically. After all, if all is said and done, the mayor may be facing a sentence for obstruction of justice and misconduct in the office, which would total eight felony counts. WOW. I'm sure that should equal out to a lot of time in jail, or prison. Do you feel that the mayor will learn a valuable lesson after this?

Ronyae we shall know them by their works, what they do and fail to do. It is obvious many of our leaders are of dubious character and lie. How much more do we accept before we clean house? best regards.

Why has the Detroit Mayor acted the way he has? It's simple. He thinks he is above the law. The legal system is showing him he is not. Every city has a process of replacing an elected official, whether that official retires, goes to jail, dies or leaves for some other reason. This man's actions are so obvious, the system will work.

Thanx for all ur comments; I do agree mostly with all of you: Our mayor is surely proving that his psychological state is very unsteady. His actions are showing that he has some sort of mental issue going on and it's hurting everything and body around him, involving him and with him.
