Why should getting your home organized be work? These three tips are perfect for anyone who is lazy when it comes to home organization.

Let's face it, most of us are lazy when it comes to home organization. It is not a fun and exciting way to spend your day, at least not for most of us. It looks and feels a lot like work. But what if you could keep your lazy ways and still have your house looking good? Here are three home organization tips that help you do just that.

1. Go ahead and keep your piles, just separate them a little bit. I do not know about you but my house seems to accumulate piles. A pile that mail, clothing, food, and everything else seems to get dumped on. If you want to keep your piles, by all means, do it. Just organize them a little bit. Have a pile for mail, a pile for filing, a pile for clothing. When you do get around to doing more in-depth home organization, it will make it easier for you if your piles are at least sorted by type.

2. Get some sorting containers. If you do not have time to deal with some of your home organization projects, one of the best home organization tips I can give you is to get something to at least put your stuff into until you can get to it. I specify organizing containers here because if you can at least do a 5-minute sort, you will be in much better shape once you do get to that organizing project. You will at least have a starting point which can help get and keep you motivated to work on it. And even if you do not get around to that project, you will at least be able to find something that you are looking for if things are somewhat sorted.

3. Do not try to reinvent the wheel. There are a lot of different organizing products out there that can make home organization an easy project. There are pre-printed files you can get, organizing racks and trays for your kitchen, and whole bunch of other organizing products to make your life easier. This is a home organization tip that anyone can enjoy. Just go shopping and see what you can find to help you get things organized.
