Tips on organizing your home and your life are limitless.  Here is a collection of easy, quick helpful hints for your home and everyday life from experts in the organizing business that if used over a period of time produce amazing results.

Three minute tasks:

Delete 15-20 emails that have been accumulating in your inbox.

Weed out 3 file folders instead of being overwhelmed by the entire filing system

Make that appointment you have been putting off

Unload the dishwasher

Dust the bedroom

Five minute tasks:

Put away clean silverware                         De-clutter the dining room table

Load the dishwasher                                 Organize CDs and DVDs

Set the table                                              Gather up newspapers for recycling

Organize a kitchen drawer                          Make a bed

Hang up towels                                          Clean bathroom mirror

Throw away old cosmetics                         Empty wastepaper baskets

Pay and file a bill                                        Write a thank you note

Shred credit card applications                    Polish a pair of shoes

Open mail over the recycling bin.  Don't carry your mail over to your desk or table where it's bound to pile up and take hours to go through later.  Open it right over the recycling bin and get rid of all unnecessary mail and inserts immediately.  Lay aside any documents that need to be shredded and shred them ASAP.  This includes those pesky credit card applications!

Keep a memorabilia box where you put those things that are memorable.  Limit yourself to one or two plastic containers (you decide on the size).  When the containers are full, you must take out something before putting something new in.  This will result in only very precious memories being stored in the containers.

The pros know that organizing an entire house can be an intimidating task.  They suggest targeting one room, then one area within that room, then one spot such as a drawer, closet or corner-take small bites at a time!
