Weddings can be extremely stressful. Though they only last one day, sometimes even just a few hours, the amount of planning and money that goes into them surprises everyone. The majority of the work often falls on the bride and her family. Event planning, especially that of weddings, just does not seem to be one of those activities from which males glean much pleasure and, as a result, they do not make the best choices. They can plan a great bachelor's party with their eyes closed, but as soon as they enter the world of flowers, caterers, and bows and frills, their mind goes into "mayday" mode;  even the most confident go weak at the knees. Most brides do not mind however, because the majority of them started planning their wedding the day they had their first crush, but it is a stressful process nonetheless.

It is a tradition, although one that is not always observed today, for the bride and groom to exchange wedding gifts. Here is the chance for the man who may not be as involved in the wedding plan to shine. This gift should not be a last minute one; you need to put thought into this gift and make sure that this thought shows through. You are about to embark on one of the greatest of life's journeys with the one person you love and cherish more than anything, and your gift needs to communicate your devotion to her. Traditional gifts that every woman appreciates are, of course, pieces of jewelry or extravagant perfume. However, if you want to give her a gift "outside of the box," then I would purchase a double bath vanity for the home you will share together.

This gift would tell her many things. One, that you are ready to turn your bachelor's pad into a home in which you are ready to raise a family with her by your side. It also shows that you understand her need for her own space.  Women spend hours in the bathroom over the course of the week and it can be incredibly stressful if you both need to share one sink and mirror in the morning.

Your gift needs to reflect that you are ready to embark on this new chapter of your lives together and reaffirm your love and dedication to her. She will love and appreciate this double bathroom vanity and it will tell her that you understand what this step means to both of you.
