Flyer printing is one of the most time-tested marketing materials that you can use when your business or company wants to advertise or launch a new product, service, or event. Flyer printing is a service that gives versatility and effectiveness to any one that will use it in their marketing campaign. There are several things and options that you can do with your flyer printing materials; here are some tips on how you can use your flyers:

•    Give them out personally at streets and crowded areas
•    You can leave them in stands, stacked together
•    You can have your fliers displayed on the company's waiting room
•    You can use fliers as direct mail campaigns
•    You can also use fliers in different size
•    You can also use die cutting and perforations in order to transform your simple flyer into an elegant display or marketing asset.

In everything thing that your company name and logo is associated with, you need to have corresponding materials that can back up your claims and show first hand the different promises that you offer. That is why many companies today are going to quality printers that can handle their different printing needs. However, while it is important to make the right choice in terms of the printing company that you choose, it is also important that you do the right thing when it comes to designing you flyers.

To help you with this, here are some flyer design mistakes that you should avoid:

Flyer Mistake to Avoid Number 1:     Do not over use color
It is true that colors will make your prints livelier and that color will make things vivid, fun and energetic. It is also true that the wrong use of colors will lead to a much cluttered design and a confusing layout for the readers. The improper use of color as well as the over use of color will attract attention but in a negative way – making your prints very hard to look at, when using colors, remember that being subtle is the key and that you should use colors that are pertinent to the occasion.

Flyer Mistake to Avoid Number 2:    Choose your images well
Images that you use in your brochures are also vital design elements that merits serious thought before being implemented. The image that you will use in your brochure should be well thought of and should adhere to a specific marketing strategy and catering toward a specific niche. The more focused your images are the better chances your flyers will have in grabbing the attention of your target audience.

Also, you should only use images that have a high resolution. Images should ideally be 300 dpi or so and can be as low as 150 dpi provided your images are not bigger that 1/3 of the page. Any images that have resolution lower than 150 dpi will result in images that are blurry, fuzzy and unprofessional. The use of clip arts in your prints also makes a bad impression and reflects lack of quality and commitment in th part of your company.
