I have good news. There is comfort and hope available to you if you believe in Jesus. You don't have to be limited to the awful things you hear on the news. You can have goodwill operating in your life by trusting in the Bible, God's wonderful Word.
The Words inside the Bible aren't like those in a novel. God's Word is alive and full of power. It has the ability to change your life. If you commit to spending time reading, receiving and applying it, over time you will experience that transforming power in your heart, mind, and in all aspects of your life. Peace and joy will increase and your faith will become stronger.
Doors you never imagined will open when you trust in God's Word. Defeat will be driven from your life. Isn't it time that you take a closer look at what the Word of God can do for you?
But I warn you. It's going to take some work. There are no shortcuts involved here. You will have to set some time aside for the Word each day. You will need to get away to a quiet place to read the scriptures and ponder them. And, you will have to practice it.
But when you think about it, that's a small price to pay for a life of victory, isn't it? It's like investing $1 and getting back $1,000,000.
Using a Bible devotional is one of the easiest ways of establishing a daily time of fellowship with God. Most devotionals contain a scripture for meditation and a short lesson. Devotionals provide a focus -- a subject you can mull over throughout the day. You don't have to wonder what you are going to read when using a daily devotional. Right at your fingertips you have a set plan.
Look for Christian websites that offer Bible study tools such as an e-newsletter or a Bible study that is updated daily or weekly. Some websites even post a daily scripture, inspirational stories, and Christian humor.
I know that God's Word can increase your faith, fill you with hope and change your life. Your life will be rich and satisfying through your daily walk with God that includes meditation on His Word. My own life has dramatically changed for the better because of the wisdom I've gained from God's Word. That wisdom can be yours as well.

Let us not forget about fellowship with other believers as well. We all need to pray for one another and be accountable. Remember there is power in numbers especially in prayer. God bless you
You are absolutely right. Fellowship with other believers is essential. However, I have observed that many Christians center on fellowship with other believers and neglect their personal time with God which is even more important. Studying the Bible is a crucial component to spending time with the Lord. We won't have anything to give out if we aren't filled with His wisdom and understanding.
