About two years ago I was playing golf and enjoying the sunshine when I played a shot, not knowing, that a rock was just below the surface. When the club hit the rock the impact meant that my lower half stopped as my back continued to turn and I badly buldged two discs in my back. I was at the chiropractor twice a week for three months and I still go once a month to be sure. During my recovery I had a lot of relapses and the pain was undescribable but the one thing that got me through was accupuncture. I am not for one minute saying that accupuncture is a cure or some miracle medicine, but when the pain got so bad, and taking pain killers for a while does you more bad than good then accupuncture is a fantastic way to by pass the pain. It makes your recovery so much more bearable and when you know that your treatment might last for months it gives you peace of mind to know that there is something that will help with the pain without popping pills.
The chinese have sworn by this treatment for many, many years and as far as I am concerned it has helped me immensely. I don't know what I would have done to dull the pain if it wasn't for this treatment and now I would have no hesitation in reccommending it to anyone.
Like I said earlier accupuncture, in my opinion, is not a cure but when the pain is at its worst and you are in the middle of your recovery from an injury it is a great way to bypass the pain until your body settles down and the pain eases off. After all a pain free life is what we all want.Darren has a host of health sites to help your needs such as http://www.your-best-interests.com/accupuncture ,and http://www.your-best-interests.com/yeastinfection
