Back pain relief can be achieved and more importantly kept at bay, but you must firstly make sure a professional tells you the exact problem in the first place so you don't compound the problem rather than fixing it. A doctor might put you on a waiting list for a MRI scan, which can take a while, but you can pay for it privately though it is not cheap.

If you are lucky (if there is such a thing with back pain) then your pain will come from spasms. A sitting job with bad posture can cause this or stress and tension are big factors in this where you are contantly stiff and putting pressure on the back. Anit-inflamatries such as dictofenic are great for this and act as a muscle relaxer to ease this pressure and you should see an improvement with a better posture.

In instances where the pain is a little more substantial then it could be an injury causing the problem. You maybe have a herniated or 'bulging' disc and therefore some adjustment might be needed from a good chiropractor to relieve pressure off the back especially if the disc is meeting the sciatic nerve and then the pain can go as far as your feet travelling along the nervous system.

With the right treatment though this relief can be achieved ( I should know, I herniated 2 discs and was out of work for four months. Now I am running half marathons).

One thing I learnt from my experiences is that after the pain is gone, only half the work is done because you never want to go through that pain again and you are now more prone to back pain that you were before. The answer is exercise. I have worked hard on my core muscles and bi-ceps so to take as much stress off my back as possible and when lifting let my arms do most of the work. This will allow your back to relax as much as possible, and before when I didn't exercise enough I had no real incentive, but anyone who has had a back injury will know, you have lots of incentive not to go through that pain again.

When doing your core exercises I reccommend using a gym ball. It takes all the stress off the back so allows you to works on the abs rather than standard sit ups which will do as much harm as good.Check out these related sites at http://www.your-best-interests.com/backpain , http://www.your-best-interests.com/medicalinsurance ,and http://www.your-best-interests.com/coloncleansing
