The real bottom line that no one and I do mean few to none have addressed and even with all the writing, posturing and presenting of ideas, opinions and perspective is that this nation has been ruled by the same people for years, decades, if not even longer. The very same people day in and day out holding any number of jobs, positions, committees, assignments. Yes from Congress to the Cabinet to advisers, to Ambassadors to whatever, the very same. After that they move onto lobbyist or big business and continue their involvement. Yes and when you turn on TV tonight you will see them all, every single one of them, hugging, laughing and applauding each other, back slapping and praising, Yes in my opinion  Birds of a feather all really do flock to Denver.

Now there are a number of publications out there alleging that quite a few of our representatives have criminal and other problems. That was alleged even 100 years ago and certainly it just may be the same or worse today? I certainly know of a few right off the top of my head who have been in the paper for alleged sexual and or money related matters. So the question is if these allegations are true then why would honest decent people vote them back into office. Well seriously it can only be ignorance, they got something, or they are birds of a feather.

Yet, those who elect these same types, election after election never seem to know who voted for them because when asked many will say "I sure as hell didn't' . Yet there they are back in office doing exactly the same things. They never seem to realize that the program, agenda, goal, ideology moves forward. Yes ignorance, stupidity, lack or concern, indoctrination, a lack of reasoning whatever, the same people elected by the very same people.

Now along comes what many perceive as a super star of change. I leave McCain out because well he is a tried and true member of the Washington crowd. However, Obama runs around talking about "that Washington Crowd" and making change and the first real decision he has to make he picks a Washington insider. Someone who has been there for decades and "knows the ropes" and works with these same types mentioned above. Does that matter, evidently not? Rhetorically one might come to the conclusion neither does what is the truth of ones words, character, integrity.

So if one reads article after article supporting him and why people are voting for him lets really get down to why he is even being considered. It certainly isn't because of his Senate record. Frankly, he has been on the wrong side of every issue except Iraq and even now is backtracking off of Iraq, strange? I think not. Well lets consider this. Everyone can understand the zeal for him by the black community, yet outside of history he offers no real substance even for blacks to attach to. Many of his stances and positions the majority of Americans and yes blacks are against and he has not done what is required more times then not even for them. Like I have said he has greatness at his fingertips but in my opinion he doesn't recognize it. In this dark age we really do not need on the job training. For that matter both of them are not my choices. No real choice is correct but it is not the answer, yet it is what we will get.

The majority of whites, who vote, consisting of the uninformed and the haves, want McCain. Not because Obama is black, no because they have or as I said they just don;t know. Their America has no problems. So now we get the proverbial race to the wire to see who will pull it out. A 51 / 49 split as usual. Why, hey, the same voters over and over again. Yes the excitement of going "down to the wire". Hey, it sells commercials.

So who really gives damn? Well not most Americans, that 50% of voters who don't vote any longer and who have given up decades ago and which is evident in their lack of interests. No for all you who really think this election is about America I got news for you, it really does not matter who gets in. LOOK, if you can SEE, as I said these are the very same people in a new package. Sure a few issues like abortion stand between them but where the tire meets the road and I don't give a damn what that is they will vote the same. Hey their record demonstrates exactly that.

The ills of this nation are scattered across this land in what they have done and failed to do. In the hungry, the needy, the homeless, the unemployed, etc, fact.

So one might ask of themselves, why waste time writing if it not for a love of this nation and really the people in it and the bottom line my very own family and loved ones. Who am I that I dare think that I can influence the masses or direct the multitudes and certainly what impact can I have on the rich and the powerful? I do not exist and am nothing before the Kings of this earth. What power do I have to force people to do what I believe they should do? None at all, but simply my words and not because I think it should be but because it is right and fact and as given to us who is The real King.

Well as I am the first to recognize, I am a no one. The worst sinner of them all. Many would rather listen to the rich, the famous those who have led them to their promised land then any average person living what he writes and experience's and the many others along with him that undergo the same.

Well that was never my intent. The only intent is and was to bring to the people what I have experienced and know by fact, truth for their consideration, discernment. Something not to common these days. Yes to give them what is real to consider. Yet I realize, as my works indicate, the masses, the multitudes would rather be mislead, go along for the ride and for the most part they are really not interested. Yes as in the days of Noah.

It is sadly the fact I have had to learn, we really are the cattle they speak of. Yes and like cattle, when they are  no longer necessary, they go to the slaughter. Yes where every single bit  is consumed to feed the system. Not a scrap left.  So while I will continue to write it is because the answer came to me very clearly.  I have heard all he methods of man but I needed to ask God. So I came home and opened the Bible and there was  Isaiah Chapter 58. Coincidence,  your choice. It speaks to "True Fasting", that is making reparation to God for ones sins in a manner acceptable to God and pleasing to God. So this answer is very explicit to me, who professes a belief in Him. Surely it should be for all others who profess? It speaks to what they should do, or in essence what they fail to do.

I quote from The New American Bible Isaiah 53 -6 -7,

56- This, rather, is the fasting that I wish: releasing those bound unjustly, untying the thongs of the yoke; Setting free the oppressed breaking every yoke.; 7 Sharing your bread with the hungry, sheltering the oppressed and the homeless; Clothing the naked when you see them, and not turning your back on your own.

Then it came to me as to why my writing is so passionate concerning issues.  A deep move within my being that urges me to write not timidly, but boldly. It is what motivates me to write. No I dare not call myself anything but an average guy because that is all I am. And after considering giving it up and asking the Lord if I should, low and behold this page came open to me. If we do not cry out the truth then no one will hear and sin will flourish. Will all hear and accept? No, but the fact that they heard is what matters. It is what I understood from His teachings.

So what is God saying to us today. He has said it in many ways, through many people, 2 nd Timothy Chapter 3 and 4 and all throughout His Word. Yet many scoff, laugh, ignore. It is what it is and it is as it will be when He returns. Yet, my job is defined for me.

So to you who profess, now is the time to repent, to fast and read this in God's Word and if you write or if you are in positions of power you know  you cannot ignore what is right before you.

Yes and you who do vote, when you go to vote in that Democratic or Republican primary and the national election in November know that you are that 50% who "always" vote and know in reality you are that 50% who deliver year in and year out the very same types who have been in office for decades in one position or another. Yes you are in effect the cause and they the effect. Yes it is what I wrote to The nitty gritty of it all.

Hi Robert, my dad and I were just talking about the Isaiah passage last week. In the context of fasting and why we do it and when we should do it.

Great word of admonishment. I love that the Lord gives different passions on different issues and levels to His children. It brings great balance to the word of God many of us are passionate about sharing. Lord Bless you dear brother.

Yes Teresa, as you know I have been struggling as to if I should continue writing because I was really dismayed that many people are not really interested in the truth. They prefer the marshmallow approach, the politically correct version, the watered down or 1/2 truths. Then again I considered our Lord and the truth and understood it is what it is. So when I found this verse, via just flipping open His Word, I as a believer took it as His answer. NO not profit, just a child of His who He was merciful enough to respond to.  I though how exact it fits my situation. It is a true fast as God intended He wanted it to be. It really hits the nail on the head, as God's Word always does, because it says send the message  and allow people  to accept or reject. Meanwhile in doing so you have provided the information so that they cannot stand before God and say, I never heard. So I am more encouraged then ever by my purpose and the fact that it can be offered to God as a fast.
Peace and blessing. Robert.

Amen Robert,  Remember I told you awhile back. never quit writing and don't be discouraged by the numbers. You are not accountable for how many respond, you are only accountable for what you are called to do and then don't do it.

Lord bless you, one heart at a time. Remember that. Just one heart makes the message worth it.  Jesus would have died even if only one person respond, so keep that in mind.  We need your voice.  I do have one word of advice which I prefer to write to you personally, but you do not have a way for me to email you directly. Please e-mail me so that I can write to you.

Teresa, like I said it is not about personal numbers of readers but it is discouraging that many are not interested in their fellow man and would rather endulge in frivilious things, sych as gossip. Yet, I will keep at it my friend. Blessings, Robert

Robert, do not quit writing. We may not always agree, or we might...I don't keep score...and I appreciate your boldness and your heart full of desire for "the least of these."

Our communities need continual information--from writers(!!!). Many churches work almost 24/7 to stock/run food pantries/clothes closets. This Christmas, in my community, a national dept. store chain will likely repeat last year's refusal to the Salvation Army for collections for the poor.

Keep writing, and God bless you!~Jane

Jane, thanks for your continued support and encouragement. As you know in my article I have been discourged really by the reaction of people towards these candidates and good people like you have been very supportive and encouraging. Now writing is about reaching as many people as possible. IN fact the Lord requires us to as defined in the article. To me, by my numbers, I do not reach nearly as many as those who will write favorably about these candidates and our Congress. How people are of this opinion is way past me. It can only be they have been selected to play a role in the end time drama that is already unfolding. You shall know them by their works, the fruit of their labor. What else is there to say. Blessings and thanks.
