The print medium has brought about many options to business owners as to how they'll implement their marketing strategies. It all now depends on you as the business owner and advertiser what you will choose and how are you going to utilize such in order to advance with your promotions. If you are contemplating about brochures, one standard size that is popularly used is the 8.5 x 14 brochure.

But you can also opt for the other standard sizes aside from the 8.5 x 14 brochure. These are 4.25 x 5.5, 5.5 x 8.5, 8.5 x 11, 11 x 17 and 11 x 25.375. The choices are not limited to these. You can have your materials done in custom sizes. This will all depend on the printing company of your choice and what they are offering.

Aside from the sizes, you can also experiment with the kind of folding that you want to be done on this tool. You can select Tri-fold, Z-fold and Half-fold. And other companies can give in to your request for other more folding options such as Gate and Accordion.

But aside from these technicalities, there are simple rules that you have to take note of when dealing with brochures. Here are only some tips that can lead you to the right choices.

1.    The design must suit the kind of market that you are targeting. They are the ones whom you are trying to please. So you must do it accordingly. First, you must do a thorough market research. After you have analyzed the kind of people whom you are trying to reach out, you must answer to their preferences and needs.

2.    Create a powerful start and end. You cannot blame people if they wouldn't want to read all through your brochure in one sitting. The usual process is that they will read the start and the end part. Based on the information that they have gathered, they will decide if they will read through the rest of the material. So make sure that you hook them with the start and that you end your tool with a bang. This way, you will be able to capture their attention and retain that all throughout.

3.    Hire the right people to manage your copies. This way, your words will sound professional and the way it is presented will look okay to your target audience. Do not let your message be spoiled by presenting them the wrong way. There are ways to sell a product without actually telling people to buy them. And this is where the role of a good writer is put into good use.

4.    The design must also be handled by a professional. There are templates that you can download for your brochures printing needs. But the design part must be done by someone who can do the job the way you want it to be done. You must create a logo that will stick to your image and that you can use for your other tools. You must experiment with the graphics to make sure that you will be able to sustain the interest of your audience.

These tips must be applied for your 8.5 x 14 brochure as well as the other sizes available depending on your style and preference.

Brochures are effective advertising material used for decades now, it has been a proven material that can generate leads to your product or services. For more 8.5 x 14 brochure prints and tips you can go to Digital Poster Printing Company - Digital Room
