There are three kinds of people in this world. People who gamble, people who don't gamble, and people who run the tables. Life can be like a crap game where you can just plain crap out whether it be the gambler, non gambler, or the person who runs the table. Sometimes life can even be a winning streak, whether you bet or not, here is how.

Let us have a look at the non gambler. The "non-gambler" goes through life never chancing anything so this person goes through life without taking risks. This person has dreams and hopes and relies on his/her skills, charm, or whatever resources he/she possess. These non-gamblers may be players of sorts in their own way but they just stay out of the game never trying to gain by playing the game but can still be affected buy those that do, especially if they have to tolerate a degenerate gambler.

Next we have the "gambler" who chances what he has every now and then to get ahead. this gambler may or may not think things through before he/she places the bet. I say may or may not according to this gambler's area of expertise where it pertains experience, or shall I say counting cards for example. Everybody knows where there is gambling there is degenerate gambling. The "degenerate gambler" is usually unsuccessful at his/her endeavors and can or will do harm to himself or others he loves or that love him. For the gambler who is successful whether it be luck or skill, can be happy in life but usually through material things and in the end may find himself really not happy at all. Some can be prudent and know when to fold em and know when to walk away.

As for the person who runs the table, this person seems in control. This person is referred to as the dealer or sometimes the person on a mean streak of winning! The "dealer" has a responsibility to keep the game fair and is usually a person who plays by the book in life, always using the system of checks and balances. This person has an authority to answer to and basically his/her job is to win and cause others to lose. "It is only business", is the reasoning, or "it is my job to take your chips, next". Eat or be eaten! As for the player who runs the tables and is on a winning streak, this person is always successful even when occasionally losing. This person has a back-up plan most of the time. More so this personality is slick, cool, charming, and usually has his/her way and if you are lucky it may even rub off on you and you might be able to wager side bets and win.

So the million dollar question is: which one are you? The gambler? The non-gambler? Or the person who runs the tables? Remember each one can be equally successful, only in different areas in life. What I want to add is that each one of these three plays an important role in the game of life. Good luck!
