Now that school has started back for most of us, I thought I might share my tips to surviving the school year while earning A's. As a college student I know how hard school can be, but you can still get the grades you need.

It is very easy to get an A. There are some simple things you must do first.

First off we must go to class. Every time the class meets, go to it. I know it sounds simple, but some people just never show up.

Second, Cell Phones should not be played with in class. Some professors will take them away and some will throw you out of their class.

Third, you must open your books and read them. following along with the text is very important to getting that A. Some people never open their text books, don't be one of those people.

Fourth, most teachers will help you if you ask. So if you are struggling with a math problem or don't get a certain aspect of history, ask.

Fifth, while we all love google please, please for the sake of all that is holy please don't just copy and paste straight into the body of your paper .Citations work wonders and keep you from plagiarizing, as does paraphrasing.

Sixth, dictionaries are a necessity

Seventh, actually doing the homework may help you pass.

Eighth, start writing term papers at least two weeks before they are due. Don't wait until the night before.

And those are my tips .The list is still growing. Also without personal desire, no matter how often you practice these tips, you still might not pass.
