I promise to solve your cholesterol problem for free. if you will spend a few minutes reading this. I am not a "kook", I am simply a person that reads veraciously, and I have a hobby of seeking out the "truth".

Have you tried to lower your cholesterol by dieting? Have you been successful? The reason that most people can not lower their cholesterol is that diet has almost nothing to do with it. Study after study has shown that, on average, watching what we eat will change our "score" by about 5%. So.... what do we do?

Doctors are aware that diets will not normally (solve the problem) so they give us " statin" drugs. The interesting part of this, is that some studies show that people taking cholesterol lowering drugs will actually die (on average) sooner than those taking a placebo. In addition, the fine print on one of the major manufacturers advertisements, use to say "Lipitor has not been shown to prevent heart disease or heart attacks." They were approved by the FDA, because they proved that they can lower cholesterol, it is important to note, that statin drugs were not approved because they were proven to extend your life or keep you healthy.

So the evidence is that, the only way to lower our cholesterol is to take drugs that also lower our odds of living. I wont blame you, if you are having a hard time with the information contained here, but keep reading and I will tell you where to go for proof.

Statin drugs can lower your cholesterol, but what else do they do? Dr. Duane Graveline is a NASA astronaut and a medical doctor. After taking Lipitor for six weeks he could not recognize his wife nor remember which house he lived in. He was so angry he wrote a book Lipitor: Thief of Memory. The problem is not confined to Lipitor, a significant percentage of people taking these drugs are forced to quit during the first year because of this issue.

Years ago, every time we turned around, we use to hear that something we were ingesting caused cancer in animals. It got to the point, that we were scared to eat or drink anything, but eventually we discovered that the amount they were feeding the animals was often several hundred or even thousands of times the doses we were taking, and over time, we calmed down. It is interesting to note, that in lab tests, rodents taking doses of statins equivalent to what is prescribed to us are developing cancer. This is a fairly good indicator that over time, cancer must be considered a risk related to taking these drugs.

In the Journal of the American Medical Association, a Yale University doctor named Harlan Krumholz, wrote that "Elderly people with low cholesterol die more often from heart attack compared to old people with high cholesterol.

To recap where we have been so far, Diets will only lower cholesterol a small amount, statins will lower our "score", but they can cause memory loss. People that take these medicines die at a faster rate than those taking placebos and this does not take into account the potential to develop cancer over a period of time, and most importantly statin drugs have never been proven to extend anyone's life. We also have the information given directly above, regarding elderly people with lower cholesterol dying sooner.

As I write this paragraph, I know that many of you are about ready to stop reading and conclude I am some kind of nut, but if you continue I believe you will be glad you did. To answer what you need to do, we first must understand why Doctors became concerned in the first place. Cholesterol is found in plaque that has built up in our arteries, but so are other things including growth factors, immune system cells and muscle cells. Plaque is basically scar tissue that's trying to heal an injury to the artery. Blaming Cholesterol for the injury is like seeing a scab on your arm and saying the scab cut you. Many studies have shown that the amount of buildup of plaque is not related to cholesterol levels, but something is obviously injuring our arteries. We may not know what it is, but we do know how to stop it.

At the beginning of this article, I promised to solve your cholesterol problem. The truth is, that if Cholesterol levels do not cause heart disease, you do not have a cholesterol problem (problem solved). If you want to find out how to get rid of, or slow down plaque build up Google H002, this is only half the answer, but it is a good start.

If you find all of this a little hard to believe please remember that Dr. Adkins proved that calories (by themselves) did not put weight on you, and the "experts" are forever changing their minds on what is good or bad for you.

JEFF,

It's to the point that when we hear of a new medical study done regarding if it's cholesterol, cancer, or any other subject, we don't know who or what to believe. They are forever changing their minds. Great article. I love you.
