So runs my litany of lovely things---- That I recite when I need words To cheer my heart and stir my memory— The glow of fireflies through the purple dusk, The fresh earth smell that follows summer rain, The scent of lilacs on a graceful breeze, The orange moon on a beautiful harvest night, With the smell of grain dust on a gust of wind.

Cupolas help us return to our roots, a simpler life. When one gazes upon them, our thoughts go back to our forefathers, the rock of this great Nation. The cupola represents everything that is America, from our democratic heart to our humble agriculture roots. From the majestic and extravagant cupolas that adorn the apex of our National and State Capitols to the simple varieties that adorn barns along the countryside. The cupola represents everything that is America.

Looking to create curb appeal, a way to make your buildings stand out without a great expense? Cupola may be your answer.

Cupolas, were originally built to provide a view, (called belvedere), to house a bell, (belfry), or provide light through windows, (lantern). If there was a stairway that reached up into the cupola, the stairway is called a widow walk. This name was derived from the practice of widowed mariner's wife---who after losing their husband, would retire to the cupolas to gaze into the sea---in hope of their return.

Residential architecture can be structurally bland. Cupolas create curb appeal by adding traditional Early American Architectural accents, adding architectural enhancement---when sized correctly.

One wants the cupola built out of top quality materials, as it needs to be able to weather the elements while perched on the apex of the roof. Two very important factors are to have the cupola built by quality craftsman and choosing the right size that fits with the buildings architectural design.

When choosing the cupola there are varies sizes, colors, designs, each look great. They can be square, rectangular, octagonal or round. Offering a scenic view—where once you get inside, you would be able to see all around town or country side. Cupolas are a great look-out point with the style of fashionable décor.

There are custom cupolas available---offering the owner the best of everything; skilled labor, quality components from base to the top of the dome. You create elegance and sophistication with your unique—one-of-a-kind cupola.

When choosing the size---remember, how a cupola looks on the ground versus on the rooftop. What looks large on the ground will look smaller when placed on the rooftop. Therefore, it is important to measure appropriately. Well proportioned cupola offset the stark designs of modern architecture.

A cupola can't just be tacked on. It has to be well integrated into the size and architectural style of the building.

Cupolas---called, roof jewels; add a touch of Americana to your rooftops. The dazzling roof jewels can be found on many buildings and in many forms. The cupola represents everything that is America, from our democratic heart to our humble agriculture roots. Embellishing the appearance of our buildings, creating curb appeal with distinction.
