Four color printing is also known as full color printing. It is the process in which you can create different colors by combining four primary colors namely Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and black. Four color printing allow you to have prints that are lively and vivid. The products that you can produce with four color printing are:

•    Business cards – these materials marketing materials will give you the ability to make a good first impression to potential customers or business partners. Printing your business cards in full color will make them look professional and of high quality.

•    Brochures – these materials benefit from full color printing since the pictures in the brochures have the most effect when they are done in full color.  Brochures done in full color are more vibrant and they attract more attention than dull looking materials without color.

•    Flyers – since flyers are susceptible to being easily discarded and thrown in the trash can, you need to use full color printing to your advantage. Make immediate impact with your target audience so that they will keep your flyers and take interest in the product that you are selling.

•    Catalogs – catalogs are not very effective when you do not use full color printing in making them. Using full colors will help in making n accurate representation of your products and services as well as making your products very appealing to many.

•    Postcards – full color postcards are very important in direct mailing campaigns. When you use full color in your prints, you will create postcards that can persuade your customers into buying and availing of your products and services.

Options that you can do with colors:

•    4:4 – your materials are printed with full colors on both sides
•    4:1 – your materials are printed full color front but only black ink is used on the back
•    4:0 – your materials are printed full color front and blank back

However, there are several things that you must check first when you are using full color printing. These are:

•    File types – be sure and check if the files you use are acceptable file types. The most widely used and highly acceptable files are: PDF, JPG, TIFF and EPS files. Also, always flatten multiple layers in order to ensure a smooth printing process.

•    File size – the more colors you use means the larger the file size. The larger the file size means it is more difficult to upload. For files that are over 50 MB, you need an FTP server for faster and smoother file transfer.

•    Resolution – even if you are using the full color printing process, the minimum standard resolution for every printing project is 300 dpi. Anything lower will make your images pixilated and blurry so always check if your images are in the correct resolution.

•    Color Space Conversion – also, if you want to have accurate color representations, all your files should be in the CMYK color space. If not, expect your prints to have low color accuracy.

For an attractive and attention grabbing materials four color printing will be an ideal concept to apply. To find more on its application please feel free to visit color printing wholesale
