Lately I have noticed numerous new names in the comment's section of my articles and I couldn't help but feel it is time to say, "Hello, and Welcome to searchwarp.com." Writing is the most glorious way to share our feelings with others-people from all over the world and from all walks of life. What better way to open our hearts and minds to others who wish to do the same.
We can laugh and cry, complain and boast. We can learn things we didn't know or discuss things that we aren't sure about; debate things about which we disagree-and learn lessons in humility. Searchwarp isn't just a ‘land of the free' it is a ‘world of the free'-freedom to write what is in our heart and in souls. I have to say, though, that I have not read all the articles on searchwarp; there are so very many, but I haven't read one yet that disillusioned or dispirited me. Many have tugged at my heart strings while others made me laugh out loud. It is such a great joy to me that there are so very many wonderful writers out there that enjoy writing for the pure love of writing!
I recently joined a writer's book club in my community and one question that was asked of me as a fairly new published writer, "how did you get your start-or what helped you the most in getting started with your writing?"
My answer was simple: I love to write. But the one thing that has helped me most is the practice that I get from writing articles and posting them on Searchwarp where some exceptional writers can read my work and tell me what they think of my articles. I have asked many of my new friends to check out searchwarp and join if it seems like something they would like to do-I have noticed that everyone I have invited has joined and have already submitted several articles. But I have also noticed many new names that I do not know and am very pleased to have their comments added to my articles.
So, again, I would like to say "Welcome to all you new comers". And to everyone else at searchwarp-all you old-timers, I would like to say "thank you so much for being there for all us totally new and fairly new joinees."
Although, a little praise is wonderful and gives you the fortitude to go on, a little constructive criticism goes a long way in helping you find and improve on your flaws. And when I told my writing club that the practice that I get from writing articles for searchwarp, I was very serious; as it is apparently beginning to show up in my writing-I am getting less constructive criticism and more praise with each new article. It really is true that practice does make perfect-or at least, it certainly doesn't hurt.
I would also like to commend all the searchwarp staff for all the wonderful new changes that are taking place. And (if I may, I think I speak for all the authors) say thank you so much for allowing us to be part of such a wonderful website and such a wonderfully diverse group of writers. Sorry if I sound like I'm ‘kissing up', that's not my intention. I hope I'm not out of line. I just had to say how I felt. To Everyone---You are Beautiful People
