Do you really want to now how bad the economy is? Well 57% of the Republican delegates polled stated all is well in America and fine. Yes the same perception as their candidate. Then again are these "AVERAGE" Americans or the majority of the HAVES? Look, the facts of what is happening all over this land are written in the signs and symbols in the homes and families of average, who used to be working people.  Certainly it does not impact this cheery eyed crew. They have no worries and evidently you're not on their list as one. However, don't forget they do feel for you and yes, they do love us. After all we are their "fellow Americans". Hey just an opinion based on their works. What they certainly do each and every day and oh yes, fail to do. Yes and all wrapped in red, white and blue and don't forget God. So to try and help this arrogant bunch out because frankly my opinion of them for even holding to that perspective while people are being crushed, abused, raped is appalling and contemptuous..

Ok, to sum it up as brief as I can. We took a trip to the local Wal-Mart Super center last evening at 7:30 P.M. for a Shower gift. A close friend had signed the gift book there. Well this is a store just 6 months ago you couldn't walk in the isles without getting jostled. Last evening when we walked in it was like a ghost town. Of about 40 registers they has 5 one and 2 self serve and you could walk right up and go. The lights were dim all over the place as if they were closing [a 24 hour store] and the clerks were standing around talking, all 5 of them. The rest were no where to be seen.

When I asked one if this as normal these days she said this was a busy night. Lately she said it was even worse then that. The point. Wal-Mart is not a high end store. It is frequented by average American families and people. Yes of course an occasional "have" type but they are more prone to go to the high end stores. So very blatantly that sent a sign and a symbol. Who can afford to shop any longer and for what?

That same day I was talking to a mortgage broker about the foreclosures. In plain terms we discussed a number of issues concerning home purchases. She flatly said in 30 years she has never seen it this bad. Many of the high end wholesalers were gone, out, bye, bye. 10 of 12 mortgages never get completed. rentals, forget about.

So yes to those of you who still HAVE think hard while your smiling about how "good it is".  Yes, while you are smiling and laughing and smirking what is next for you? If average people can't buy, if they can't get credit, if they can't pay their bills because the jobs are the pits, the bottom, the low end where does that leave you?

Yes where does that leave you Mr. Small Business person? Yes where does that leave you Mr. Car dealer? Yes where does that leave you Mr. Salesman? Yes where does that leave you Mr. Insurance company. Yes where does that leave you Mr. Banker? Yes, etc, etc, etc, Where does that leave you? The sad fact is while you smirk your slowly going down the tubes an don't even recognize it.

Yes, you who have, want to check the signs and symbols, just get out and about and see for yourself. It is there for anyone who wishes to see. So go ahead and place your bet on these who promise you everything but deliver little to average folk. Yes, Do you really want to now how bad the economy is?

Hello Robert, I certainly was shocked by the numbers and I am the average American sweating those bills every month and wondering how to snatch a little here and there for retirement. I have been conservative for the most part of my life. I was a small business owner for 21 years and I would not do it again. Too many worries and so many restrictions, taxes, insurance, the list goes on. I do try to practice localfare in my community. I shop the small business people , buy local wares , support my local farmers at their markets but I see it on so many faces, the worry lines . I want our government to reconnect to us average Americans but for the life of me Robert , I do not know how. I want to almost go back to a little radicalism of the 60's to shake things up in Washington but in a non violent way. Good Article Robert! I know we have your back and you have ours.

Sincerely,

Nancy green

Nancy, thank you for reading and your thoughtful words. I write for all "average people / Americans. It is about mine and your posterity for the General welfare of us all that I write with zeal. Whatever I write about is reported in the leading press or media or from my own reseach as facts. That number was reported in a respected paper. It is fact. If we who are undergoing strife do not wake up we will get what others give us. You may want to read my latest. All the very best and keep in mind, where you can vote that incumbent out! Best wishes, Robert
