Well I have been writing to the issues now for a considerably long time. Today's AP headlines read "The Grapple for Change". Now that in essence is what many "believe" this election is all about. How far from reality that is. Do they're recognize that, no. They are in my opinion quite blind to it all.  The issues are clear as good crystal yet all do not see. They look right through them. So lets review the facts, not the rhetoric and hype of this campaign, as we will hear from those who "SELL" the news and what news they choose to bring to us.

The first thing is that we must understand that ONLY and I placed that in bold, only 50% at most of all registered voters, vote. Indications in the primary showed a "minimum" turnout. That is only the hard core always vote types getting out to vote for their champions. One wonders what the election will bring? These types are really into all this.

Now that being understood the media and news will and should consider this race as " a tight race". Why because it is all about the regulars who do vote and as usual by history who will most likely once again split. Check the records, 51 / 49 or there about most of the time on candidate after candidate unless there is a blatant reason not to. Ok, remember the Gore election, enough said. However, what is never included is those who do not vote. That is 50% or more who could, but now rarely do. They just are not a factor, they do not exist in reality, only on paper. Only those who vote do count and rightly so. Get that, you really do not exist if you do not vote so why are you complaining? You show no interest and you got by default what you evidently want? Please don't cry about we don't have anyone we like, only the rich can run. Change can be made but it starts with each of us at the local, state and then national level. Simply put, keep voting them out until they get the message and they eventually will.

So it is not unreasonable to have the opinion this might be one of the tightest races in history from the media's view. The real question is who will switch sides of that 50% who do vote? Now yesterday it was reported in the press that 57% of the Republicans attending the convention felt everything was fine in America. Rhetorically of course, it is evident these people don't live in my town and if they do they must be the ones behind that security gate. Ok, what does that say? It tells you where their bread is buttered. Now they won't like that label but frankly they make it by choice, not I, or anyone reporting such as it is, it is by their works that opinion is formed.

So,  Democrats have the "hope" tree. That is promising everything, delivering little. Just an opinion based on works. Have you forgotten the last election? Rhetorically, it doesn't matter what they say as long as it sounds good. They go along with the program no matter who it is. Does Comprehensive Immigration sound familiar? Mr. Reed, Speaker Pelosi, Senator Graham, Senator Kennedy, McCain and Obama? I believe that is  a mixed batch, no? Yes they reached out across the isle. Like they do on everything they want to get done.

Now the economy is in shambles for "AVERAGE PEOPLE" / Americans, fact. That is 15% of all Americans or 50 million or so. Yet that is exactly the point, they are an acceptable margin, as the Bean Counters will say. The 85% of the others, well they break down into what our leaders call "Middle Income" Americans and higher. That is those making $75,000 and up, are you? Then you are part of that group. Your hurting but your mind is on gas and food prices not much else. Your still not hurting enough and all is fine, for now. Out of that there is the upper 15% who really own it all and they are aren't about to give anyone a piece of it.

Now those in that middle and upper category could care less about the average "personally responsible" types who are not "credit worthy". After all they brought it upon themselves. So for them all is Ok. It could be better, but Ok. The real difference in parties is that from a marketing perspective. The Democrats sized upon that 15% to try to lure them into going for them. How, entitlements, CHANGE.  Hey what do they have to lose? They just might pick up a few extra votes here and there and they are in my opinion right. They are using attractive bait, hope.

Now, as I said what will they do about it all? Well in my opinion they, both parties, will do exactly the same things they have always done. It comes right out of their mouths and the entire campaign in my opinion is total deceit for any average American who hopes for help.

Why this opinion? Well my friends, like I just said, those who like the Republicans like what they are doing. The same with the Democrats only the Democrats in my opinion will be handing out entitlements. Hey what do I care, I have nothing, let  those that have pay. That is those that have and who love that party. Of course they are scared they will lose. In reality what are we talking about in dollars? Pittance when it comes right down to it. Pennies on the dollar. Yes and they spend BILLIONS to bail out private investors, oh I'm sorry we average Americans do. Oh, I forgot, sorry, I was thinking they also were the ones paying. No, now I got it, they are those investors we need to give a break to so they can but those foreclosed homes and get back their investment when they lose.  Ok, Mr. McCain now I understand. Yes and they all do "feel" for THEM. He even mention it in his acceptance speech.

So the epic battle will all come down to who will get those few extra votes. For the very large percentage of average Americans it will be business as usual. Why, well once again, look at the records. Do you want an example. Ok one more time I'' say it again- Comprehensive Immigration. Oh you are sick of it. Well to both parties they just do not care. 81% of Americans, regardless if they vote or not  said they were against it. In my English, the Kings, or broken, that means you don't want it. Someone is lying or a hypocrite here. YET and that is in capital letters, that bill is still on the table waiting for the new president.

Does it matter who is president? NO. Why, think about it and check their record. They both are for it and both parties worked on it together. Now I do not have time to list all of their togetherness. This entire deceit about change is overwhelming and those who vote know it is not reality and so should you. Yet many know already it is all the same.

So those who read these types of articles and wonder who will get in and what effect that woman from Alaska will have on the race are the only ones interested. Why, because YOU GIVE to average Americans just what you want them to have, election, after election after election. Sure it's their own fault that they allow this to happen. I agree but it will. Yes and the same miseries, greed, exploitation, usury, breaking of law, dismantling of America, broken families, credit and housing woes will continue.

Why, it is simple even though this hurts, Americans evidently APPROVE OF IT ALL. So keep an eye on this exciting race because like I said, these are YOUR CANDIDATES. Yes and we already know you love all they do. It shows in your words, your smiles, your cheers, your enthusiasm.
Yes and they really do NEED YOU, that is you who actually vote. The rest non entities.

Reuters news today 9/8/2008  = poll shows candidates dead even. How strange?
