To all Republicans, don't start hurling stones at me. This is just a different slant of perception, a different perch, a point of view you might have overlooked. This is the voice I heard. Let's see if it resonates with you.

" I fought for the right strategy and more troops for Iraq when it wasn't the popular thing to do." I assume this means he is still committed. Right? For Americans, here is the impact:

Let's be clear: We are the ones attacking. Two countries down and a third on the scope. We don't like what they are doing. So we attack them. Since they don't like us and we know we will attack people we don't like then we assume they are just like us. A manufactured paradox. Try taking a good uppercut at someone just because you think they might swing at you. You say, "Yes, but they are capable of hitting me." You are capable of hitting them too. Using the same logic, they should be swinging at us first. See the paradox we create out of fear of each other? Think this will work well within your marriage? It is the same.

Ever wonder why people don't respect Americans anymore? Our diplomacy has been based on fear of us and what we might do if you don't cooperate. If you haven't been paying attention folks, many high ranking officials from all over the world have come out of the closet and told their stories. America has not been very nice at all and country leaders are all aware of this. We earned a very nasty image. So first: John McCain is saying that he will foster this bad image and by making it true...thus making it worse.

Second, he is saying thank you for funding this created paradox so you can feel protected from your obsessive fear (that he is creating.) 56% of the 2008 budget was spent to protect you against your fears. This means 56% of our global potency is invested in fear. This is negative energy. This is what we send out and what the world feels from us. It is no different than your relationship with a pet. Make more than half of your energy negative and see what the pet does? Enough said.

McCain's conviction was summed up by his follow-up statement, to the pundits, "I had rather lose an election than to see my country loose a war." Do we really want to keep conquering lands and converting them to our system? Have you ever been approached by a Hari Krishna to covert? How did you feel? We are making the world feel that way. So third, McCain is stating clearly that he will worsen this arrognace. Think clearly about this.

McCain continues.

"We'll drill more wells!" All credible industry reports forecast the impact of these wells will be felt in ten years and then only have a 5% impact on supply. Long time, small reward. Technologies that harness the ocean's movement are already being tested today. Not by us though. The oceans shift every day with the moon. The waves beat constantly. This is energy and it is free. Let's throw a few billion (out of 2.3 trillion budget) at this technology and have free energy in ten years. No oil required. Drilling has no use for us. It does impact oil company profits however. Whose interest is being looked after here? Think about this clearly.

More.

"We have dealt a serious blow to Al-Qaeda in recent years but they aren't defeated and they will strike us again." Are you really so afraid of being attacked that you want to spend most of our wealth on your fear? You need to stop and ask yourself why! What have we done to earn our perceived enemies' admiration? Leave them alone. We have problems at home. When the number of people dying (not military) from terrorists approaches the number of people dying from diabetes ( 69,301 year 2000) you might get our attention.

Besides, we can't stop a nuclear attack. Too many holes. However, we can address why they hate us enough to aim and fire. It isn't because we are free and they are envious. That is weak rhetoric. They hate us because we are abusing our wealth and power. We need to change this about ourselves first. And remind me again: Why do we have nuclear weapons? This is a game with no good ending. It is time we started being a country to be admired...we used to be.

"Iran remains the chief state sponsor of terrorism and is on the path to acquire nuclear weapons." Leave them alone. Ref: The New Yorker, Hearsh, exposing Bush's covert ops in Iran to cause unrest so we could attack. Would you like for New Zealand to be here causing political chaos so they could attack us? The list included high value targets. People were on the list. Yes, the 24 TV series was on the mark. How would you react to New Zealand? Your reaction is the same as Iran to us.

"I know the military, what it can do, what it can do better. I know how the world works. I know the good and evil in it." Herein is the problem. To most of the world we are the evil. We keep attacking and bullying them and covertly just screwing with them. Ever had someone bullying you? Attacking you? Screwing your life up behind your back? The feeling you have is the feeling the world has for us. Its fuel is fear. That is what we are sending out to the world. Think about it.

"I know how to work with leaders that share our dreams of a freer, safer and more prosperous world and how to stand up to those who don't." Stating clearly his intentions are to divide the world further, galvanize it into those adopting our views and those that aren't. We can then gang up on those that don't. This escalates the conflict. We don't want to divide the world do we? Don't we desire polices to bring the world together? What if Mexico decided their system of doing things, their way of thinking, was right for us? Mexico then rallied allies to force us into submission. How would you like Mexico? That is the feeling the world has about us. McCain was clear enough. This perception of America will get worse and we will have earned the label.

"I'm going to fight for my cause every day as your President. I'm going to fight to make sure every American has a reason to thank God, as I thank him, that I'm an American...fight with me, fight with me."

Finally, I confess. The America you want to project to the world isn't me. I have changed. Fear is not my chosen demeanor. I had rather love the world and see what that brings. Let'em fire a few early shots at us until they can get use to us being better global citizens. We apologize. Look at your own past. Having your spouse fear you, was this working for you? There's no difference.
