"ThE VOwEls ArE StUck On ShIft"

ThIs cOmpUtEr sUcks
ThE VOwEls ArE StUck On ShIft
And I cAn't fIx It

[This poem came about from a contest on a site called AllPoetry.  People hate sticky caps, and I couldn't resist being onery and writing a haiku using sticky caps but letting it fit the situation.  Yes, it is a haiku... I say vowels with two syllables.]

"My Zombie Girl"

Stuck in the sixties
But still so pretty
My zombie girl
Dead and yet so alive

Her eyes just hollow holes
Her brain nothing but worms
My zombie girl
Stiff and yet so fluid

I take her as mine own
And love her as if she were real
But she is nothing but my fantasy
Gone and yet so here

[I wrote this for a different contest, and decided to take it from a guy's point of view.  It's kind of morbid, but I think it's funny.]

Z Wolf, I enjoyed both of these poems. I DO appreciate haiku. It is an Japanese art form that few Americans understand. Good job on both poems.
