A poem of unremitting Love
If you are there, can you hear the beating of my heart? The warmth of your smile lingers in the last of the summer sun. If you are there, can I hold you in my arms like I did once on the eve of that day in April, when our spirits first met in the garden of new life.
If you are there, tell me you love me and I will know, that in the harvest of my life I have reaped what has been sown.
If you are there and do not wish to share the joys and memories of spring with me, then have no care, I'll be glad that our paths dare to cross and that I once loved eternally.
This poem is dedicated to all those who have fallen in love for the first and last time in April, when all nature seeks to find their perfect mate.
Funny thing is that I love the month of April. It is also spring and has all the beautiful aromas of roses and flowers. It is also my birthday month : -)
Ah! Your birthday month, that's why you are so special. My daughter is also an April baby and she has brought so much sunshine in my life just as you bring so much sunshine into so many people's life. Thank you for reading my poem Michelle. I really appreciate it.
