What are natural ways to get rid of mice?

Natural ways to get rid of mice include using natural products to deter mice, keeping food away from mice, and mouse-proofing your home.

10 tips using natural means to repel and remove mice:

1) Fox Urine -
Fox Urine is a great way to repel mice because they are a natural predator to mice. If you don't have a cat, and don't want one, you can buy products that contain fox urine. These products can be sprinkled in and around your home to eliminate mice.
2) Peppermint -
Peppermint is a great natural way to deter mice. Placing a few peppermint plants around the foundation of your home can help repel mice.
3) Bay leaves-
Bay leaves are also effective because they can be sprinkled in your kitchen and around your pantry. Mice can't stand it.
4) Hot pepper -
Mix one tablespoon of Tabasco and a quarter cup of soap detergent to one gallon of water, and you will have a great repellant spray that can be used in and around any area that you're having mice.
5) Ultrasonic Pest Control -
Ultrasonic devices transmit audio signals that humans and pets can't hear, but mice can. They transmit varied frequencies that cause stress for mice, and induces them to move to a less aggravating environment. Mice are like people though, and can be reluctant to leave their homes. Ultrasonic devices are great a for preventing mice from initially coming into your home.
6) Get rid of their food -
Mice will chew through cardboard boxes, which means they'll eat through cereal boxes, oatmeal, and rice in your pantry. So it's really important to make sure that they are well protected, by putting food in plastic or metal containers. All garbage should be double bagged, removed, and brought out to the garbage in your garage. The garbage in your garage should be sealed properly with plastic lids.
8) Keep your garage clean -
Mice like food, like nuts, grain, and sweets. One of the common problems people is leaving garage doors open. Mice get in there, and often find plenty to eat. Grass seed and bird seed are a great source of food for mice.
9) Trim shrubbery -
Mice climb shrubbery, and use it as a ladder to climb through torn screens or open window sills. A good rule of thumb for that is that shrubbery should be at least 12-18 inches from your home.
10) Mouse-proof your home -
Mouse proofing your home means closing up any openings in your home where mice could get in. Mice can get through any opening that is about the size of a dime. Key places to check are around sinks and radiators. Also check cracks in your foundation, and rotten wallboards. Take advantage of these ten tips to naturally repel mice.
