To love, is to leave and let him breathe,
To love, is to realise when you are not needed,
To love, is to step back and be unselfish,
To love, is to let him know, then to let him go.

To love is to be there behind the scenes,
and watch him grow and succeed
and give support if ever there is need.

To hold your hand out in  friendship
and ask nothing in return.

I truly love him...

When friendship turns to spiritual love, there is a need to understand how your feelings are effecting the person that you love.  They may not feel the same and this can be so apparent that it can cause you pain.  Sometimes it might cause your friend to laugh hysterically! So, to cope with the situation it is sometimes better  to withdraw and reflect and try to regain a balance. It could be thought of as a natural deepening of a friendship but if this is only a one- sided friendship then my poem would show you the best way to proceed.

This is a beautiful poem Elfreda! I am sorry you are feeling lonely. If I could come to England, I would spend some time with you and share my friend Jesus. I hope your spirits rise soon.

Hugs, love and blessings,
