Believe it or not there is talk going on right now that the homeowner needs as much help as possible as do the financial institutions. What is fair for the big guys is fair for the little guys (the homeowners).
What’s being said behind the congress’s closed doors is when (not if) the government takes over the trouble banks, they will buy all the defaulted home loans and rewrite them.
My interpretation is that the money in arrears on each home loan will be added to the back end of the loan and a new amount at a lower interest rate will be created for the homeowner.
Therefore, now is the time to understand the foreclosure process whether you are facing or in foreclosure. Why? Because you can’t afford to be taken advantage of by those who will prey on your ignorance of your stressful situation and use you house for their profit center.
